  1. I went. I bought 3 of the Sandisk e140s MP3 players on Wednesday and sucessfully returned/rebought them today. Great price at $59.99. I wanted one with the SD cards for the additional memory.
  2. Thank you to the Office Depot manager who showed up at 4:45 (they opened at 6) and handed out vouchers, but best of all, she let me know that she'd do my return/rebuy without me having to actually get my grubby hands on the product :-) When I came back later, she was the one to ring me up and I didn't have to say anything, she remembered me :-) Since I didn't have to wait at OD, I ran to Sears. Thanks to the lady behind me for the pocket warmers. She passed them out to the 5 people around her. It really made the wait bearable. I had a great BF.
  3. That's one of the things I was interested in, so I wrote down everywhere I saw them. You'll find $39 or $39.99 down comforters at: Herbergers Marshall Fields Kohls
  4. Well, what's MOST annoying is that I was trying from 12:00 until 3:00am CST to get these deals and CC online was not working. Finally gave up and had to sleep. If the site was working right, I would have had them.
  5. THanks for the links to the DVD+Rs, that was annoying (when I couldn't find them). I still can't figure out how to get the 512MB SD card, but at least I got my flash drive and DVDs.
  6. Hmm, so, vanillamack, do you think it will let you do 5 rebates for the same thing? I'm worried about how to work that. I still can't get the $8.99 price on cinderella or the 50 DVD+R spindle for $6.99
  7. I run out and buy one at the gas station at like 5 am usually (I get two, different papers...sometimes one has ads that the other one doesn't)
  8. On this topic... Well, I stopped by Target today. They are low on my priority list, but I WAS hoping to get a few things. So, I picked out my stuff and was just browsing in the furniture department, you know, opening all the drawers and having a look see.... I broke a piece of furniture, the drawer just fell right out of the dresser. I was SO horrified. I had to run away and then come back when the coast was clear to, uh, check out some of the other furniture. :-) I felt really embarrassed...now, hopefully I won't forget where to look on Friday.
  9. You know how we were talking the other day about hiding stuff in the store so that you would be sure to get it later? Well, I stopped by Target today. They are low on my priority list, but I WAS hoping to get a few things. So, I picked out my stuff and was just browsing in the furniture department, you know, opening all the drawers and having a look see.... I broke a piece of furniture, the drawer just fell right out of the dresser. I was SO horrified. 10. Anyone know about the limits on the CC rebates?
  11. That could be, but I want to order now. Do you think if I put my stuff in my cart it'll change price when I refresh? Has anyone done rebates at CC? Is there a limit of 1 per household?
  12. I tried calling in my order with the phone number. But the guy didn't seem to know anything. He looked up my item, but was getting the same price as I was getting online. Then he tried to tell me that the ad was confusing. Those deals are only available the day after thanksgiving...different deals on Thanksgiving day. Then he told me to check back on Thanksgiving....I'm like, it is Thanksgiving! :-) Poor guy, sounded harassed and confused...I let him off the hook and told him that I'd keep trying online.
  13. Flash Drive: http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/productDetail.do?oid=98961&cm_keycode=85 SD Card: http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/productDetail.do?oid=81740&cm_keycode=85
  14. There weekly ad has two sections for Thursday only online sales (page 1 and page 8). I'm trying to pick up the 512 MB SD card for $9.99 and the 14.99 flash drive!!!!!! It's not working. Up until 12:00 AM the ad said, not available yet. After 12 that went away....but I can't get the sale prices!
  15. They say they are active when you look at the ads...but when you add it to your cart it has the regular price. Any ideas? Anyone experiencing the same thing?
  16. :) I know. What can I say, I like to live in the past.
  17. That's a good idea...maybe I will. Thanks!
  18. You think? I was all set to get the $1099 gateway and apply the $250 discount for AOL for $849, which is a great deal. I use dial-up Juno now for $14.95/month. So switching to AOL wouldn't be a big deal. But, without the $250 discount, it's not that good a deal. So I've been kinda freaking out that I need to rethink my laptop choice. I'm replacing BOTH of the computers I currently have with this one, so I need to get a REALLY good one, not one of the $398 deals.
  19. The Comp USA AOL deal is listed by several of the computers in their ad...but not by the computer I am looking at. Do you think that the AOL deal can be applied, even if it's not listed? I'm confused :-(
  20. I looked at the ad scans from Office Depot. I've been searching for a good deal on the e140 for a long time...That's definately the one pictured in the ad for $59.99. :-) I'm planning on using it for audiobooks, which is why I wanted to be able to expand it up to 3 GB.
  21. I finally found the Office Depot MP3 player and it's definately the best deal in my humble opinion. The cheapest I've seen the one they have is $85. They have it on BF for $59.99. I'm definately planning on that one! I know that Office Depot is on the black list (get it...black friday :) ) But...That's the one I've been looking for for weeks! It's the Sandisk e140. It has 1GB of memory and you can add another 2 GB. It plays on AAA batteries (much better in my opinion than the lithium ones). Here's all the info: Sansa e140-stores over 16 hours/240 songs of MP3 or 32 hours/480 songs of WMA music3 Digital FM tuner SD™expansion slot lets you add up to 2GB of additional memory High quality SRS WOW™ sound Microsoft PlaysFor Sure™ Certified ensures that what you buy from PlaysForSure-certified online music stores such as Real Rhapsody will play on your Sansa e100 series MP3 player Supports MP3, WMA, secure WMA and Audible audio file formats Digital FM tuner with 20 preset stations Easy player navigation: songs sorted by title, artist, album, genre and more SRS WOW technology included for superior sound playback Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port for fast and easy transfer of files Up to 17 hours continuous playback using one AAA battery4 Attractive sport carrying case with armband to protect your player and keep hands free duringworkouts Indigo backlit multi-line LCD display provides album, artist, and song title information Stereo headphones Valuable offers from Audible, AudioFeast, and Rhapsody One year limited warranty
  22. That's what I'm hoping for....but, no luck so far. I thought you were serious. I'm pretty annoyed at the situation myself...so, I figured that that was understandable. Unfortuately, my annoyance is trumped by my desire for a great deal.
  23. Understandable. Thanks for letting me know.
