Could anyone tell me what this statement means: Wal-Mart's disappointing performance in November is the latest in a string of anemic sales gains for the discount store, which is struggling to expand its appeal to higher-income shoppers.

My store was like that also. I did notice that they had a large sticker stuck on one item in the bunch.

The Walmart I go to doesn't open til 5am but this year they let us inside the store at 4:15. They told us to go stand by the item we wanted or walk around the store but we couldn't pick anything up or put anything in our carts. If you did then you would be escorted out of the store and couldn't come back until the sale started. They had employees walking all over. All of items were open in the isleways. Nothing was covered up. At 5:00 they announced us to begin. I didn't mind too much since I wasn't standing in the cold anymore......lol.

I missed out on the ESPN Fast Action Football for 119.00. This was one of Walmart's "secret" items. My Walmart only had 1. I also didn't have a Circuit City ad so I couldn't PM the GBA.

I spent around $1100, Walmart($550) , Meijer ($250) , Circuir City online ($100) , Finishline online ($100) AJWright ($80). Not hard to do with 5 sons and nieces and nephews. OUCH!! About half way done.

My Walmart was crowded. I got there at 3:15 (I was 15 minutes later than usual) and there was probably 100 people already in line. Any other year I would be one of the first 20. Was very surprised after seeing the ad. I guess that 52' tv worked for them in Northern KY.

I got the Nerf basketbell hoop from Walmart (One of the secret items) that is originally 248.00 for 99.99. My son really wants this and I got lucky because they only had 3 of them.

I didn't have any problem against Walmart myself. I didn't have a CC ad so they wouldn't PM my GBA. Oh well, had about 6 other items that did get PM. Can't win them all?? I did get all the Blitz items I had on my list and only waited about 10-15 minutes in line to check out.

A little FYI: I was in Meijer this morning and they had signs posted that they would not be doing price adjustments on previous purchases for the sale items for today and tomorrow.

I went also. Got everything on my list except the college tees and hoodies. They only had Kentucky stuff. This is the first time I went out on Thanksgiving Day and was almost as crazy as tomorrow will be.

I just saw the ad tonight and it was for a RCA 52 inch. Looks pretty much like the link posted here.

Anyone else see the commercial for the 52 inch RCA tv at Wal-Mart on BF for 494$ ? Any more info on this???? Thanks
