  1. Lego set still full price. Half an hour on hold was enough, so I hung up. sent an email complaining about it all. we'll see. I'm outtie to get a few hours sleep. Isn't online supposed to make it all easier? sheesh.
  2. stillllllllll on hold. composing an email complaint... I'm giving up at 1am,
  3. on hold with muzak.....uhhhhh... I'm so tired. still waiting on the lego sets
  4. some items go on sale at 5am I think... or not at all if you are shopping online
  5. phone lines are still busy. what a joke.
  6. come on! I could have already been at the store and checked out and on my way back home by now!!!!
  7. ha! their online order customer service line is busy.
  8. are they hand entering each one or something?? sheesh! waiting on the Indiana Jones Lego set
  9. okay... it's 12:11 and still no changes in pricing. rrrrr
  10. Grand Rapids, MI here... I'm usually hardcore about going it alone, but last year, the hour and half long checkout line at Kohls started to change my mind. I watched some smart shopping partners get in line as soon as they got inside and then they took turns shopping and waiting in line.
  11. well.. yeah, legos are really expensive.. but.. my 8 year old son has played with them every day for atleast the past 3 years and that is no exaggeration. He rebuilds, invents, creates, and plays with them in numerous ways. Oh yeah, and he spends pretty much every dollar he earns or gets on buying even more legos. It's a toy that doesn't require batteries, requires both sides of the brain to be used when playing with them and is extremely durable. So it is worth every stinkin penny imho. Though I still can't bring myself to buy the sets that are $75 and up. As for my nonos... Nintendo DS. I refuse to allow my son to be sucked into Nintendo DS world when we go out. He can learn to amuse himself through conversation, drawing and reading. It's a skill that will come in handy his entire life. We have a Wii at home anyway and that's enough.

    aquadots???

are aquadots back on the market? the Target ad posted here has them for sale. is this right or do we have a bogus ad?
  13. no pricematch at Best Buy?
  14. last year, I got to Best Buy at 4am... the line was already around 200 or so people long. I was hoping to get the cheap computer package so I asked a staff person if there were tickets left for it but the tickets were already gone. BUT... he said the Public Relations guy at the entrance still had a couple tickets. So I walked up with the best Christmas smile I could muster and got a ticket from him. I don't know if that was a fluke or if it's something they always do... but it might be worth trying. Also.. another tip I've used for a few years. Since I always start my BF with Best Buy, I do a lot of DVD and CD PriceMatch items there. I just get my stuff and walk straight up to the Customer Service desk which has NO LINE and I'm in and out in about 20 mins or less. Then I have plenty of time to get to the 6am doorbusters.
  15. I could be wrong, but I think Michigan has a consumer protection law that requires retailers to give you 30 days minimum to get a price adjustment. how would I go about trying to verify that law?
  16. Old Navy prices for kids clothing *are* pricey when you compare them to Target and I think Target usually has better made clothing. A couple years ago, Old Navy had really good BF deals ($1 scarfs) but last year was nothing special. Looks like this year is nothing to shout about too.
  17. Younkers and Marshall Field's have BF sales. Last year, Younkers had some AMAZING deals.
