[Embarassing run-in with the UPS man...]

Now it's the 26th and I'm just now reading this thread. Great belly-laughs but please don't be embarrassed. Plus, just think of all the people you've given a huge laugh to by being willing to share the story.

[Did anyone else have an uneventful Christmas?]

Quiet time for us. DS, age 16 didn't even get up until I woke him at 8:30. By then the breakfast casserole was in the oven and I had already downed my first Diet Coke. Then we opened presents, called relatives (who all live out of state) and plain chilled out. DS had built me a pantry between the studs, completely finished off inside and out and during the evening I put things in place. Really, we enjoy the calmer times and have a chance to spend quality time together.

[When does everybody take the decorations down??]

Usually ours stays up until at least the new year, however this year it's coming down Friday night or Saturday. Our DS and myself will be gone all the next week and simply don't wish to face taking everything down on the 8th when DS goes back to school. Plus, I'm sure DH would appreciate things back to normal. :)

Personally I simply love the PowerEX rechargeables and the MAHA 401FS charger. I got mine from Thomas Distributing. Just remember the higher the mAh number the longer the charge will last. My AA's are 2700 and my AAA's are 1000. That charger will handle both in any combination from one to four batteries. I'm too new to be able to post a link so you will have to do a search for Thomas Distributing. VERY good and fast service.

WOW Final cost, including tax is $12.04. I used a reward check that was about to expire. Wouldn't let me use an expired one, however, I do know my local store will honor it when I make a purchase there.
