  1. I've seen the refurb with kit lens as low as $388 during the canon refurn sale. The kit mentioned above has a lot of useless stuff, and those aren't canon lenses. I would buy a cheaper version and add actual lenses to it, not Chinese made extenders.

For what it's worth- I've had much better luck with refurbs than new. I like that they have been thoroughly inspected. My las had a shutter count of 10 when I bought it!

I'd check Adorama and Cameta, be sure and look at their refurb pages, too.

  2. Bit the bullet and then emailed them with order# to ensure they hold off on FULL order before mailing stuff. It's pointless to get printer and then not camera before rebate deadline.

I hope it works out! It was all in stock when I first saw it yesterday.

thanks...I'm looking to stick to canon but will definitely have a look. BB has a good deal on the 60d and with 18mth financing it doesn't hurt just not sure if I want to bite the bullet yet. Looking over discounts last BF they weren't much better except maybe 1 deal with a nice lens than I have now but don't really need that.

    Check this out. http://www.adorama.com/ICA60D.html?utm_term=Other&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=Other&utm_source=rflaid62905

Add it to your cart and it drops to $599. There's a spot on the link that says 'save up to $300 with bundle'. The total is $878 + a $400 rebate, leaving the whole set just $478 after rewards and rebate.

  4. don't mock cassette tapes.....my mom still swears I'm going to convert some of her old latin music. I should really just get her cd's and a radio with a cd player so she can listen to them and let go of that heavy old box taking up space. An mp3 player would be way too complicated for her.....she can't even find ALL the pictures safely saved in a FOLDER called pictures on the desktop no matter how many time I remind her.

new cell phones and dslr's..maybe a baby toy or two on BF list....MUST stop buying blurays!

Adorama via EBay has been running some amazing nikon dslr kit deals. I picked up a d3100 for $280 last week, they ran a d5100 for $395 a couple of days ago, and a d3200 kit for $405 today.

  5. Saw this yesterday and thought I'd post a safety reminder. Not only do crazy shoppers kill/injure so do sleepy people.

This is my biggest fear with the new hours. There are so many women who have woken up early, spent all day cooking and cleaning, and will try to pull an all nighter when they haven't been up past 10 in years. I'm a night owl and I was too exhausted to trust myself last year, so we skipped the overnight. Thousands of us run a 5K that morning, we had three dinners, and our annual hike to my great grandparents old place. If I was that tired, I didn't trust anyone else that was more so than I!

Not sure how true that is. Seems like wording has been updated:

"Free or paid Amazon Prime members can share their shipping benefits with up to four additional family members living in the same household, or up to four coworkers."

It states somewhere that the co-workers must all ship to the same business address.

I've heard stories where they are closing the account and billing the main holder for all shipments.

  7. Does anybody know if there is still a printable target coupon database where you can print pdf's of coupons that aren't expired but not available on the Target website anymore? I can't find it anymore :( can someone pm me a link to it.

44 packs of Finish Dishwasher pods were 50% off for $5.48 and they come with a free full sized dishwasher cleaner or free dishwasher booster. There were $1.25 off coupons in the paper a couple weeks ago making them $4.23. It was only the ones with the free bonus attached that were half off.

I'm pretty sure they did away with it when they went to IP specific coupons. I'd hate to even try to use them.

Based on reports I've been reading from across the country over the years, calling seems rarely to produce the correct answer regarding Target clearance. Also from everything I've read over the past several years it seems they really don't know in advance when seasonal clearance will go down.

Calling can be very accurate. Just jot down a couple of DPCI numbers (of clearanced items) and call for a price check. When they enter the number, they will give you the current price. you'll be able to figure the % off.

  9. Went this afternoon, surprisingly there was tons of hello kitty stuff in the dollar spot. Decent selection of Christmas stuff, but not much I wanted for less than 90%. I still had my $1/2 coupons for the heritage tins and they were $1.19.

My big find was the orange bubble and brown rachael ray baking dishes. They are marked $59 and ringing up $14.99! This worked at several stores, none were marked. The blue ones are on clearance for $3x.xx and marked as such. I *think* the # was 020 02 0012.

If you are there, don't forget abut the pizza deal this week! There is a b2g1 digiorno and a $1/1 CPK pizza printable on coupons.com. They are on sale for $5 and you get a free box of Edy's popsicles for every two you buy. If you buy 3 Digiorno, 1 CPK, and 2 boxes of popsicles, your total is $14 after coupons. Not too bad!
