  1. we used www.emailsanta.com and it is super cute!

We did this too, and it was really great. My 2 1/2 year old mentioned she wanted a "dress like Dora wears" and they even told a story of how Dora and Boots "visited" the North Pole one time(which was an episode of Dora the Explorer) and it was great, being able to get that response right away.

  2. So hard to choose, but it would have to be one of these:

The Xbox for $99.00 for Hubby's best friend from Game Crazy.

The My First LeapPad Learning Table for $19.99 from TRU.

The Ipod Shuffle with rapid travel charger for $80.00 from Overstock.com

The Nintendo Super NES Super Set with 2 ASCIIWARE Super Advantage arcade style joysticks and 3 games all in the original boxes with original packaging, hardly used for $65.00 for Hubby from Ebay!

All in all, it was a VERY good Christmas for me!

  3. I placed an order on November 30th... it was processed on December 2nd... They shipped the packages via different carriers. UPS delivered on December 6th. and Fedex delivered on December 8th.

Yikes! LOl I Just hope I don't get the charger before the Ipod...that would be awfully hard to explain to my hubby! ;) "Oh, I just thought I'd get you a charger sweety!" :tongue1:

  4. Just bumping this up, because I'm in a similar situation. I placed an order 24 hours ago and it just says accepted. I'm supposed to receive an email when it ships, but there is a note that says "if your item was guaranteed by Christmas, rest assured it will be there by Christmas." I guess if it shows up on Christmas Eve, my hubby will just get it early! LOL
  5. I've been to the one in Ohio (Lodi) and one in Florida to do some Christmas shopping... super deals this season!

Was it the one in Orlando or the one at Ellenton? Both are good, but my fave of the two is the Ellenton outlet! :)

  6. Thanks!! I just picked up the shuffle for my DH for a stocking stuffer. I wish I could afford the full out Ipod, but still getting the shuffle, plus a rapid charger for only $81.95 shipped was something I couldn't pass up since he has been wanting one forever! I just hope it gets here in time! If not, I printed out the pictures and I'll just wrap those and put them in his stocking! LOL

I am so in love with GottaDeal!!!:g_thumbri:yay::2wiggle:

  7. Does anyone know if this a good gift for a 2 1/2 year old? Do they sell lots of toddler shows for this? Thanks.

This is AWESOME for a 2 1/2 year old!!! They sell all kinds of things that my 2 1/2 year old daughter loves; Dora The Explorer, Max and Ruby, Blues Clues, Little Bill, Thomas The Tank Engine, Sesame Street, etc. I think there are even Nick Jr. Collections.

  8. does any one know were i can find good deals on leap frog stuff. my kids are 2 and 4 and live the stuff.

    thank you

    andrea

I know that if you are signed up for the "Toys R Us 12 Days of Deals" promotion that today the My First LeapPad Learning Desk is on Sale for $24.99 and there is a $5.00 off of a $25.00 purchase floating around, so you could pick that up for $19.99, don't know if that's something you'd like, but I know I'm getting one for my 2 1/2 year old daughter. If you aren't signed up, you can do that here.
  9. I am glad I am not crazy. I saw the same commercial ONCE, and only once and I could never find the information about it... I thought it was all toys also and sent hubby to get the last 2 toys for ds, no go, he thought I was nuts that "alltoys were bogo1/2" and was mad that I sent him into a store he hates....

    False Advertising!!!!

That's what my hubby said "there is no way that ALL toys would be bogo 1/2" and I said "um, during Christmas it is TOTALLY possible!"

  10. Have you noticed that when they have something advertised they never have it in stock? I quit shopping there a long time ago. I don't care how good a deal it "might be". K-Mart is a total waste of my time.

Yep. That's one reason why I stopped shopping there long ago. In all honesty, I only might stop at K-mart like once a year, if that. My hubby will try to talk me into "seeing if they've fixed things." And it's always the same garbage. I think the CSR totally did not expect me to return all that stuff. She just looked at me and said "Well, your receipt says you saved $19.00" and I said "yeah, from stuff that was on Clearance! I should have saved over $100!" Then she had the audacity to say "well, ya know? It is Christmas time and the toy selection can get pretty slim." To which I responded "that's all right. My children are 2 1/2 and 8 months. They won't know the difference! Just give me back my money so I can go spend it somewhere else!"

    Grrrrr! Stupid Kmart idiots!!!

  11. After seeing the Kmart commercial on TV all week for "need toys? Head to Kmart, all toys are Buy 1 get the second 50% off, this week only at Kmart" my hubby and I decided to do just that. Only to have our purchases rung up at full price. I went to the customer service desk to ask about it, and they said "oh no, it's only the toys that are pictured on the front of the circular." So I said, well, your television ad doesn't say that. And they actually fought with me! So I said forget it, I returned all $200 worth of toys (which took the clerk about 20 minutes because I had a lot of "little" things) and I will be doing my shopping elsewhere from now on. I would hope that the television ad and the print ad would match, but apparently not for Kmart! I tell ya, everytime I try to give Kmart a chance, they end up doing something like this and so I stop shopping there for years. This time I don't think I'll be giving them anymore chances.
  12. The PS3 has supposadly been pushed back till next Christmas is what the video game shows on TV are saying

    Mara

Yeah, that's what I heard too. But, we'll wait. My poor hubby waited for I think it was Grand Turismo 3 for well over a year, with several date changes, so I'm sure he'll be patient and wait for his system. I'd rather let them work out all the kinks then get a junk system that was rushed anyway.

  13. At launch, I believe there were 22 gsames that are backwards compatible. They are tring to get ALL, but it may not be possible. And anyone who thinks they wont go through this with the PS3 is insane. Sony is the one who started this type of release. They have NEVER had enough, with any system launched. Some say the PSP was the exception, but here it was not. Just dont think its not gonna be you.

Ah but see? My husband is not one of those people who feels he has to have the system the second it comes out. We have a PS2 right now and we are very happy. So the PS3 will be released and we'll wait 6 months or a year, and then when all the fanatics are done clammering for it, we'll get ours. And then we also don't have to be searching for games because they have already said that it will be backwards compatible. So I can still play games that I've had for years on it! :)
