  1. Isn't it odd how with a still lousy economy the BF sales don't seem as good as past years? I'm guessing retailers too are hurting enough that even they aren't willing to take a reduced profit on items. As was pointed out on this thread, instead they are opening earlier. The lack of even good financing is also a sign of the times as consumer credit is still extremely tight. I'm really surprised we haven't seen any touch screen tablets for BF.
  2. Not being critical here, but what impressed you with the Best Buy add? Maybe I missed something, but I didn't see any great buys.
  3. What I heard from a 13 year employee at a regional electronics store; "We will not be taking losses on Black Friday items like we have in the past." I'm suspecting the sale items from most retailers will be very limited and the percentage of mark-down on prices will not be as great as past years. As has been proven in previous years, some major retailers advertise items as Black Friday specials while many of us here knew there was nothing special about the advertised price. Guessing we will see more of that type of hype this year.
