Typically 2000-3000hours Mine has lasted over a year per bulb - I use it for gaming and movies. I may hook up a tv tuner soon and get some HD content on there. It's great if you like having people over to play games or watch movies.

Wow, I bet you heard they suck. eMachines are not that bad. They get a bad name because who primarily buys eMachines? Your everyday average joe who has no idea how to work a computer so they blame the machine. I personally own the doorbuster eMachines from the last two year's black friday sales at BB, and they run as well as they did when I bought them. I take care of my stuff.

Remember, the 40GB version of the PS3 ($399) will NOT play PS2 games.

UPDATED... I made a spreadsheet for myself and I'm still unsure of which I want - I'd like to get (2) 22" http://www.4shared.com/file/28891223/d174ab40/_2__BF_lcd.html LINKS for people w/o Excel: Samsung http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001240&Tpk=2220wm

Best Buy had a $250 laptop last year
-
NO, it will not play hd-dvd discs. It will display hd content from an hd antenna or hd cable/satellite box.

There's more to pricing than just manufacturing costs e.g. packaging, marketing, distribution, etc. However, if the controller prices are REAL, then I'm grabbing about 8-10
-
I can definitely see OLDER x360 games being $14.99/19.99 and new ones $29.99. I doubt any controllers will be more than $10/15 off. The only one I can truly believe on that list is 'MADDEN 07'

I'm looking for a quality 24" lcd with hdcp
-
wow, that is clearly store-specific and the fault of the store manager. Ours is pretty organized.
-
I have to sign up for something? Uh, forget it then. Who wants mine? Paypal me $1 seriously
-
Depends on your BestBuy - I got there at 9pm and I SWEAR there were about 20-25 people in front of us. When 4am came around, about 10-15 people happened to materialize in front of us. We still got everything we wanted, but I feel bad for the people behind us.

its going to be NUTZ this year - im going early for sure
-
you could, but to enjoy it you'd need a new video card too. i'd consider their Compaq desktop for $399 with new video card
-
You do not get a ticket for non-early bird items! Do you know how many tickets they'd need for the whole store?!

Any Good Deals On Blank DVD's?
senpai replied to Dust N Bones's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
100pak dvd-r @ bestbuy = $4.99 (no rebates) -
I'll tell you that some Best Buys are wayyyy better than others in customer service
-
I doubt Best Buy will run out of those entirely. Even if the stores run out, you can probably get it online.

I bought a projector for $1300 + extra for the warranty. About a year later, the unit stopped working (bulb?) Anyhow, I went to get the bulb replaced and apparently they didnt stock bulbs or fix it anymore. They told me they'd get me a new projector at the retail price of $1300. That's a deal! A new projector with WAY better features and specifications plus the warranty transfers to the new unit.

My cousin had that card up until recently when it just gave out. He played a lot of games for long hours so I believe that heat issue. Nothing an aftermarket heatsink/fan couldn't fix.

I own a DS (rather my lil bro) and YES, the lite is way better

The computer and monitor are in seperate boxes. Last year when the BB employee was handing out the ticket, they aked if I wanted accessories and such. I don't see why you can't upgrade the monitor.

yep, just get the sandisk player because if it gets lost/stolen - hey, it was $35 and not a couple hundred for an iPOD
