I am always afraid of losing my money. But I am more afraid of me w/ CC's. When you have 24 at one time...you know you've gone overboard. Hi, my name's Evon and I am a compulsive shopper...who can't control her credit card spending!!!
-
I am sure they did. I did not wait around to find out how they handled it. I was using cash and moved up 2 spaces. Still I have had to use manual authorization...and on BF I bet it's a pain to do it.

I remember about 3 years ago I was @ Walmart and their credit card machine went down. Luckily I don't use them...but there was a lot of mad people.

Seems like it's always that way. Alot of people I know just go and buy a new printer instead of replacing the ink. 2 ink cartridges(black and color) for an HP and u can have a brand new one.

You know what...I checked the ad...and it does say special buy. I guess when I checked the ad online back when it first came out and the price was the same I assumed it was one of the everyday low prices.

I just checked the link and you are right...it's gone. I am wondering what happened. It worked a couple weeks ago when the ad was put up. Thinking that they may have sold out.

This is not a black friday deal. These always sell for this price. If you look at the ad closely you can see it's the everyday price.

For the people who did it last year...I have a ?. Hubby and I want the dvd/vcr. We are going to Walmart first and hoping to make it to Sears right at 6 when they open. We don't care to get the gift card. Will we have any trouble w/ the dvd/vcr? Or should I just get it at WM too and pay the extra $10. Gonna go check out last year 2 see what the consensus was then.

Thanks Brad I saw this on the front page earlier. Can't wait to see more ads.

Have to agree w/ Mark here...they don't have to give deals because the people buying their stuff would buy it anyway. However some of them do have a sale(Macy's usually does)...just not like the others stores sales.

I did see a booster seat in someone's ad. Just can't remember whose. I remember thinkin that I wish'd it was a car seat and not a booster.

If you check last years forums you will find that most Targets do their own thing on opening time.
-
This is called a price adjustment...not matching.
-
Dunno about that. Walmart looked at each and every ad closely last year. But if she is going there anyway...like u said can't hurt to try.
-
I was disappointed w/ their ad this year. I have gone the last 3 years and won't be going this year.
-
Maybe it's in their Saturday sale? Or Thanksgiving?

There were a few stores different as well as a few areas(like OH) but I don't remember Walmart being one of them.

Do you buy same amount of gifts or spend same amount of $

My mom used to spend the same amount of money. So like the year I got my 10 speed for Christmas that cost over $100 I didn't get much else while my sister got lots because the things she wanted didn't cost as much. Most of the toys I have bought in the past and most of them this year are community toys. But there are a few for each girl. I think until they get older and can understand prices I will do the same amount of gifts for each.
