  1. Picked up the Motorola S9/D650 ipod bluetooth combo for $64.98 at Target in Hurst, TX yesterday. Retails for $130 so I got 1/2 off which is great. I love being able to listen to my ipod without the wired headphones and the quality is GREAT!!! Item number is 080080881.
  2. Little tikes deals are not as good as last years deals. Seems like they are only putting deals on their more expensive items.......not like last year when they did more mid range and lower range priced items.
  3. Yeah, I went to Walmart in the DFW area at 4:45 and it was DEAD compared to other places. When I left at 5:30 they had about 80% of the cashiers just standing around. I had myself a good chuckle. :)
  4. Although I did go to Walmart this morning for 1 thing that wasn't on AD, I did get a very nice chuckle out of the fact that WALMART was DEAD. At 5:30am they had cashiers standing around doing NOTHING at all. Last year at that time there would've been lines wrapped around for every cashier. Not this year. Got there at 4:45 and out by 5:30 after looking around to see an abundance of everything still available at my local Walmart in the DFW area of Texas.
  5. I picked up a Fuji finepix A600 for $88 on clearance yesterday at the Watagua Target in the North Fort Worth Texas area. It's a 6.3 megapixle camera with 3x optical zoom. I think that was a great deal and the camera takes wonderful clear pictures. I got the last one at the store but you may be able to find the same camera at other Targets. I myself am a pure Sony digital camera user but have been very impressed with Fuji as some of my family members have them. This little camera will be my purse camera since it's small and light weight. My Sony is my photography nut camera but it's big and bulky so the Fuji will be my everyday camera.
  6. My daughter liked hers for like 1 day and now sits in her room. She plays with the dolls that don't do anything more than this doll. I do have to admit that I'm not too keen on buying extras for the doll......that's where all the money will be made. I refused to buy more diapers but rather found some preemies instead......much much cheaper than buying the refills for the actual doll. I think this doll is just one of those items that is hot only because the girls want them but after they play with it for a while it will become garage sale foder.
  7. My daughter has a V-Smile pocket and she loves it. The games for the younger kids are GREAT. I like that the games are challenging but don't discourage the child. For example, in the Care Bears game they have to jump from cloud to cloud to retrieve things. If the child doesn't make the jump to the next cloud then it will put them back on the cloud and let them try again.......no dieing and starting all over. That makes it so much better for the younger kids learning how to play these games.......they don't get frustrated. If you join the VTech kids club then about 2-3X's a year they have giveaway on V-Smile items. This year we got the car adapter, a V-Smile backpack and a Wiggles cartridge all free by just paying shipping. I think the V-Smile is one of the best toys my daughter got last Christmas and she's still uses it one year later.
  8. Walmart ad definately SUCKED big time. Circuit City 32 inch Olevia HD LCD is on my list for $499. Where are all the toys in the Walmart ad......definately not going there or at least not going there EARLY. Maybe Target's ad will have more toys.
  9. Thanks!! I got my daughter one too. She loves her V-Smile!
  10. Ok, I'll give everyone the scoop on this printer. The good: Print quality is great. No wires, no batteries needed. Small and compact, a good travel printer. The bad: Looks like the film is being done away with. I did find film for the camera but it was being clearanced for $8. I've actually found the film for $5 online. The film that came with the printer was dated 6/01 so when I put it in the printer and tried to print it of course didn't print because the film was too old. Once I put a fresh film in it worked great. As for the memory card, I myself printed from a 512K Compact Flash card no problem. You'll need some type of compact flash converter to try other memory cards. The print is actually only a 3x4 print.
