I don't think it is bad at all. I know I am super bummed over finding no sewing machine. I'll try and hunt online for info on the ice cream machine later tonight if I have time.

I went to my nearest Target, and sadly they did not have any of the $22 Singer Sewing machines. Fwiw, other Iowa GD'ers, the nearest machine is in Burlington, I had them check the stock at nearby stores. For me, that is too far away, like almost 2 hours. Hopefully it'll help someone though.

Daycare costs here very greatly. $2 per hour for 1st child, and $1 per hour more for each additional child - I have a friend that does this for me on the rare occasion that I go do something, so it's not a regular basis. And this is very inexpensive Now full-time per week, I think the cheapest around here is $100/week, but that is usually for just 1 child. Hth
