  1. I don't know. Meijer's made me pretty excited. Thanksgiving ad blew me away. Slight problem - Hubby works 6 am - 2 pm on that day. Not taking 3 little ones out. trying to figure out if I can make a deal that day with a SIL that maybe wants something from there and one of my nieces spending the night to stay with my kids...hmmm
  2. Meijer's will have the Gameboy SP for 79.99 on Thanksgiving and you pick 2 games for free.
  3. About 15 minutes last year at Wal-mart. Probably 100th in line. Got everything I wanted. Everything is on the other side of town. So everyone goes over there. We now have a SuperCenter on the other side of town, real close to CC, BB, Target, Big Lots and Kohl's. Hopefully, everyone will go there. Ours just started construction to become a SuperCenter. Hope that repells people also.
  4. I was happy with the ad. So far this is the place I want to be. Just waiting to see the Target ad. Walmart is not close to any of the other 2.
  5. Well, the adapter is nice, but I believe it still runs on batteries. Which run through quickly.
  6. Usually someone buys something chocolate to munch on and we meet the step dad and husbands at mr. Beefy's for lunch, home for nap. Once I'm home hubby is done watching kids and won't let me get out again.
  7. In the Toledo area we have the zoo's "Light's Before Christmas". Which is amazing. There's drive-thru light show close to downtown. The county has a "Children's Wonderland" that the children love to see. We have "the nutcracker" and various music concerts. My kids mainly love to drive around and look at the decorated homes. There is a sub-division near by that nearly every house is all lit up and they always ask to go through there.
  8. There is a link for toy coupons on the bottom right of the screen when you are looking at the toy catalog.
  9. Bf shopping was the one day of the year that was just my mom and me. Almost ever year for 15 years. Then my brother's wife started coming which was nice. It was a special day that we spent together. Both Mom and I were big time shoppers. My hubby makes sure it has off the beginning of the year, because he knows it's like a holiday for me and he watches the kids. It's the second year without her and it's not the same. My 15 year old niece comes with me. She's so much fun. My mom's best friend said she would come every year with me as a tribute to my mother. She hates shopping, but loves BF. She recently traded her lease in and told her husband she needed the same car to handle our BF purchases. :)
  10. Both my 5 and 3 year olds want one. Mine disappeared when I was little...
  11. Enough that when Hubby is on the computer, I'm going nuts because what if I am missing something???
  12. Last year I wouldn't have gone if I was driving. It snowed that early moring with a freezing rain mix. It was cold and the wind was blowing waiting in that Wal-mart line. The weather already is below our average this year.
  13. Now for some reason the Walmart ads do not come up for me. Everything else does, but not those. What am I doing wrong?
  14. At my Wal:) mart I was talking to some of the employees about Friday and was telling them what I knew. They were so excited and wanted to know about this site so they could check it out themselves. I do think it depends on your area. Our employees love their job and are very nice. They even treat my kids very kindly.
  15. I do it all, but on Christmas Eve my DH takes all 3 kids (6, 4 and 2) shopping for my presents and the last odds and ends for everyone else. :holiday08 While I'm home wrapping all the gifts. He would stop at my mom's and she would insist to keep a couple of kids while he finished. I think that was planned on his part. She has passed recently so I don't know what he'll do this year.
  16. I must have read this if not 30 times. #13 gets me every time. I am in Wal-mart all the time. I wish I could witness someone doing this just once.
