Go to the thrift store. I had an 80's party last year. I bought a "pleather" red jacket and a ruffled black skirt. They sell leggings at target. I also wore red pumps. Some other people wore the "Madonna" look, someone dressed as the fighter pilot form top gun. Someone dressed preppy. I also found a "Member's Only" jacket at the thrift store. I found Jelly bracelets there also. Most of us (sadly enough) just pulled out what we used to wear from our own closets. Ask your friends also. Remember to tease, tease, tease the hair and lots of "Aqua Net" hairspray. She will have a great time:cheesy:

It was the purple one. I did research and saw that only differences with the other bissell models were different types of attachments. All of the other things were the same. Again I am very impressed. When I went to linens and things they had a promo for a $10 gift card and I used a 20 % off coupon. When I went to the register they realized that they forgot to take down the 10$ gift card sign and they reduced the price to $119 and then got $20 off with the coupon. Sounds like your deal was much better too bad you did not pick one up. That is the reason that I just bought one. I have a tend to think and rethink and then miss the deal

Just a suggestion. I was going to buy a Dyson and did some research. I found that the Bissell Velocity was also dual cyclonic like the Dyson. The Bissell only cost me about 100$ with discounts from Linens and Things. just to let you know I contacted customer service and they are mailing out the cover for the leapster free of charge. They were not in my box I looked everywhere. Just some weird thing. The rep did not really even question me. Must happen often.

I totally went through all of boxes and inserts and it is not in there.

It hasn't actually been picked up yet. It is waiting for fedex or ups. I was just curious. I don't think it can get here that fast. Although, I did order something on a Wednesday night and received it Thursday morning with regular shipping.

Just a quick note to anyone waiting for the mixer. It states that mine is ready to be shipped. I do have a question it states that estimated time for delivery is on the 24th. How reliable is that date?

That is really weird that they refused to honor the 10 % off. I once purchased a dishwasher from them and they had an old sign that said free detergent for either 1 or 2 years. He said he could not honor the free detergent but, said what if I just gave you the money off. He took off close to 150$ off of the dishwasher. They also honored a miter saw that was wrongly put in area that said the price was like 100$ the miter saw was worth atleast 250$. My husband said I feel kind of bad buying it for that price. I told him keep quiet. Companies do this kind of stuff to keep your business. We did a total remodel of our home and spent atleast 20000 there so they got a loyal customer. Did you ask for a manager?

Just a quick note. Shipping is great. I ordered a I love jake ryan t-shirt and a long duk dong t-shirt on a wednesday night and received it the next day. Granted I live close to the actual store but they are very quick with their orders. I will totally order from them again
