As an ex-employee who left Target not too long ago, I can give you one piece of advice: don't on them having toys and electronics in stock. I worked three black Friday's with the company and they would always have a hundred blenders, can openers, etc. But when it comes to toys and electronics, they would always have no more than 10 in stock. Last Black friday I even approached the store manager about this and he said the ads get people in the store and if they can't get the item, then too bad. Keep in mind that I don't hate target. I left to go to schooll full time. But I did work in the backroom and was able to clearly see how much stock they had on hand.
believe that to be true.. at least in MY area. They have things in ads ALL the time. I get there early sunday morning and they dont have them. drives me CRAZY. meijer also does this.

The sheets will go fast. and the toys. I doubt the electronics because most people have them at a better deal. the sheets would be on MY list. anyone know if we can get them on line?

except for computers and laptops walmart near me doesnt sell out super fast. They generally have enough stock for at least an hour

I PM at WM all the time. they never ever giveme a hard time. BUT I always have the ad with me. They will NOT PM % off any items.. theynever have for me.its the only troubleI have with PMing

I currently am owed $10 by TRU for a rebate and their customer "service" person that I am dealing with refuses to pay, and is either lying or stupid because they are contradicting themselves in replies (not to mention ignoring the facts on the rebate form, which I emailed to them). I went to my local store today and the manager there would not honor the rebate (it was suggested I do that because most managers will just give you the $10 to settle the problem). She told me to call customer service and escalate if necessary.
It's amazing how a company that used to be known for great customer service has gone so far downhill.
Sadly, my son wants a Lego set that TRU has for 50% off (all Lego is 50% off Friday and Saturday). I obviously would prefer not to give my money to TRU. But I doubt that Walmart would PM a 50% off deal, I'd need to have an actual price for the item.
NO wm will NOT PM % off deals. I have asked repeatedly. They refuse. HOWEVER shop around on the legos. I am SURE I seen somebody this week that had them on sale

Just wanted to mention an experience from last year. Before BF I had several Layaways at WM. During BF I went to WM with their ad for a special on Build Your Own Lightsaber. I asked for a PM. They Layaway people told me that it would adjust the price when the item was paid for and taken off layaway. A few weeks later I went to pick up the Layaway. And to my surprise it didn't adjust the price.
It might have changed from last year. But, we didn't get the extra discount. If I would have known or been told during BF I would have bought ones then and saved like $10. Just wanted to mention.
i think you have to get it out before the sale ends

I was in my Walmart earlier looking at the I-Dogs and I noticed that the packaging was different from the other ones. When I scanned them they said "See an associate for help". I knew I had found the ones for the Blitz sale. I attempted to buy 2 and when they scanned them they came up "Sale not allowed". They gave me some song and dance about them probably being recalled. I knew better. I just said ok, but now I know what to look for. The are in a black box and they are the all white ones. I saw about 5 on the shelf and after that happened of course they cleared the shelves of them:D. I also purchased the Monopoly Here and Now with the bonus game. It was supposed to be a Blitz item, but I had no problem buying that item. Go figure:rolleyes:iwas in a local wm today. tried snooping.. they have everything wrapped too tight..did get socks 15 pairs 7 dollars
what is here and now? how is it different?

Does anyone know where I can find Queen sheets similar to this duvet set? I am looking for something like these that will go with a red duvet and shams. Something not too girlie or manly not floral or flannel. Something that will go with a rustic, western, cowboy, Mexican, South Western theme.

Why if someone has gotten the black fridat Ad, will they not post on here what is different or the same??? I got a walmart ad but it was a Electronics Ad and a Thanksgiving Ad, nothing about black friday and I live in a small town. I have never gotten the Black Friday Ad in the mail. Please someone who has received this oooooh so mysterious ad, please let us know what it is etc.

Best Buy has their Insignia 7" (NS-7PDVD) Portable DVD Player on sale for $79.99 with a free $19.99 case. On BF they will be having the Insignia 8" (NS-8PDVD) Portable DVD Player on sale for $69.99, but I would have to buy the case. The cases are supposed to be 50% off. So, it looks like I could buy the 7" now with the case for the same price as the 8" with the case. The only difference is the screen size. Does anyone have any opinions on this?
go for the bigger size if its foryou. if its for a kid. dont worry about the size

I think I need to buy one of those cards that will give me access to the internet anywhere - that way I can be in line if I need to be and then surfing the net still looking for better deals - now where do I go looking to find a deal on one of those cards, does anyone know of a really great place to do that?
