  1. $2460 before tax at Best Buy for the 42" plasma, 32" LCD, 22" LCD, Klipsch speakers, X1600, eMachines, and Toshiba laptop. The total savings was $2315 off BB's regular price. Plus you get double reward zone points, so that's $100 in bb gift cards I'll get to boot.
  2. Im waiting for the ATI X1600 to be delivered, and my Happague PVR150. I've got 512mb spare memory, and a 200gb, and a 160gb hard drive along with a 16x dual layer DVD-R I'm putting in the $190 BB emachines. The power supply is 300 watts, and the case has better cooling than expected, including a duct for the CPU heatsink to exit the side vent. This is being displayed on the 22" westy monitor. All in all, it's a pretty nice HTPC for the office. I put it all on the $60 "L" shaped desk Office Max had for $60. I love it all!
  3. I only have our cable directly connected to it and I'm really impressed with the clarity of SD cable. These aren't even digital channels. if you're picture's fuzzy, I'd play with the adjustments, but you might need an exchange.
  4. Can anyone tell me if this has the wireless internet adapter in the computer. ( I want to also buy a router for my kids so we can all be ont he internet at the same time)

The USB adapter won't get quite as good a signal as an internal PCI wireless card, but that's a steal. If you want a second computer to onnect at the same time, you can either put that wireless router right next to the other compter and connect to it with a network cable, or you'll need a second wireless card.

  5. I haven't bought a PC in 9+ years. I built my first when I started college and never looked back. I can't turn this down for <$200 though. I haven't decided what it's role is going to be yet, but I'm sticking the 15" lcd in the garage for a PC/Tv out there, and I'll use the printer as my main printer unless it's a photo sized printer. I never have good printers at home since I'm an engineer at a print controller company and can print anything I want on pretty much any size paper. I think I may make this my new HTPC, but I really want to know if it has an open AGP slot. I'll buy it either way, but I'd like to have that slot open for my ATI all in wonder.
  6. When the PS2 came out, I was a freshman in college. Myself and two friends got a tent, a generator, a 20" tv and our PS1 and camped out at Best Buy playing video games all night, it was a blast. We were on the local news that year. That's the most camp-out preparation I've ever done. Usually we just dress warm, bring camping chairs, and a sleeping bag to wrap around us.
