  1. Did you already get pictures from them? Or are you going by what they look like on your computer screen? I've uploaded lots of pictures and ordered from several different photo websites and have never had a problem with pictures or colors unless the pictures were low resolution or blurry to begin with.

I did already receive the prints.

No... the pic's from my card were crystal clear, as were the prints I printed at home.

The ones I ordered from them were not very good quality IMO, and the colors were different.

  2. I ordered my free 75 prints, personally think my home printer quality is much better. I'm not sure if after uploading the pic's if they loose integrity, since the colorings aren't true when they are printed. Also did a photobook, that will be here soon, I hope that one is better. I've never had them printed like this before, so maybe someone who does this alot will be able to answer better. I just know my prints are not the same as my screen shows the pictures, and the ones I've printed at home.
  3. right now through mypoints.com if they are still offering it you can trade I think...maybe sell and they waive the $30.00 fee. But if you don't already have your skymiles acct. linked to them it will take over a month for that info to update and will likely be expired. If I couldn't do anything with mine I was looking to donate them to the make a wish foundation or something like that...I think they do that free of charge...Just google donate skymiles and see what comes up.
  4. Thanks Andrea! I went there and got 2 mags...about the same choices as e-rewards, and those miles cost me $100.00 in e-rewards and probably the 2 mags combined are not worth more than $30.00...but hey, i've used them..next time I'll think first about getting skymiles...since it looks like this is the only way for a basic member to redeem them, if not traveling. Thanks for the info, I appreciate it!
  5. can you provide the dates on them (expiration). the closest date and the farthest out one. just a range would be nice.

The dates should be fine, I can go throught them again and make sure but obviously wouldn't include any expired ones. I know some were into 2010 I just continually add to the baggie as I use up our products w/ boxtops. The closest would prob. be around June and the furthest is prob 2010 sometime without actually going through them all.

  6. Yah.... thats about it. Sometimes the schools have contests and parents try to get the most points for a special trip or reward for the class...or if the school is having a contest since they are one of the top earners...thats about it.
  7. I get tired of people ripping on plasmas all the time. I've had one for over a year and love it. It has a beautiful picture from all angles. LCDs only look good if you are looking at them straight on (in my not so humble opinion from having looked at both plasmas and LCDs). My plasma is in a room with windows, there isn't a problem with glare.

Whatever you decide, research it first. Lots of people have favorites in this debate, so make sure you look at both types of sets and decide what looks good to you. Not because a bunch of biased people tell you that plasmas are junk.

Biased people??? I believe someone had a link for reviews in one of the above posts. And FYI our "huge" lcd is at an angle in our tv room and everyone can see it even if I sit to the left of it and look at it.

I believe the person was asking for opinions and thats what everyone is giving here. I do not think anyone is ripping on the Plasmas but it does seems that there have been issues, and even if you have not seen it, some of us have. We were open to buying either, but there are always certain factors to consider.

I agree with research, whatever you decide. That's what we did, and our LCD's are fabulous!

  8. I also wouldn't recommend a plasma. We have 2 LCD's both bought from Costco...one is a Vizio the other a sceptra and no issues at all. We love them. Our friends also have 2 plasmas bought the same times as we bought ours and they have major burn in! We have never had that problem. Also another thing to consider is a Plasma is for a more dark room with no glare since it has the different screen. We have big windows and both LCD's have been great! Hope this Helps!
  9. Hi. I have a set of Powerlines from Netgear. They were from doing a "test" with them. We absolutely love them. We are big online gamers, and have never had a problem! I can't recall the item number but mine are light grey in color. I'd suggest possibly ebay or maybe even amazon or newegg for a buying option. We have a wireless router form our cable Co. and we hooked the powerlines up in the familyroom to run our Xbox 360 without cords, and then after we bought another 360 for the other end of the house we were also looking into getting another set of powerlines, but opted for a cheap xbox wireless router instead. I did some research and some people use 2 powerlines with no issues. So hope this helps!
  10. Best deal right now-

    Costco- $199.99

I went with Best Buy they matched Costco's price since they were in stock @ Costco, and used my giftcards so no out of pocket cost and I have money left on my giftcard.

As far as the extended warranty...am thinking of going w/ the 2 year plan for 39.99(just in case) I do hear they are fragile. and it is for my 13yr olds bday.

I did see Amazon had them, good price $219.00 I think but they also charge me tax, but free shipping. HTH
