This weeks Toys R Us ad has the 2 Disc Lion King DVD at $19.99 but also says Final Price $14.99 with $5 online coupon. However, the online coupon is for the 4 disc sets. Will they honor this deal & take the coupon anyway? Or will they tell me that they made a mistake & not take the coupon?

Wanted to let everyone know that Target is beginning to clearance a lot of iPad accessories -- for the original iPad (since the new iPad 2 is now out). So be on the look out. Monday I got the -- ###057 00 0455 Speck DustJacket cover for iPad -- $21.14. I think that was about 50% off.

###091 02 0386 Bobble water bottle filters -- the 2 pack 2.48 Bobble water bottle filters (the 2 pack) are ringing up @ 2.48 -- that 's 75% off. At one store I found them on a clearance endcap near the laundry products, with a clearance sticker on them. In another store, they were on the same rack as the water bottles (right next to the Bobble bottles) and they did not have a clearance sticker on them & were marked 9.99 but rang up @ 2.48. If you have a Bobble (or have been wanting one), this is a great deal.

Yesterday I got the Monopoly game with a rain check, a $5.00 coupon and the free card game -- total = $2.00 + tax. (In Lincoln, NE) I wasn't sure if it would work either but it did. I don't really need the board game, but it was too good a deal to pass up. I'll probably save it for donating at Christmas time.

Got the following yesterday: ###204030206 Fisher-Price Little People Play & Go School $5.50 Got the these today: ###086120593 Fisher-Price Bouncy Bee $3.24 ###204090079 Fisher-Price Little People Time to Learn Ride On $9.18 Visited the 48th St. store in Lincoln, NE yesterday & got the play school. I'm not sure the original price so don't know if it was 30-50 or 75% off. Today couldn't get there until afternoon so I wasn't real hopeful. I had see the riding toy @ the 48 St. store yesterday so started there. Nope. But did get the bouncy bee. Then finally found the riding toy at the Super Target. I was really, really happy because everything was totally picked over. I found it in with the regular priced riding toys! Now I am all set for a DGD's 1st birthday in June. 3 nice FP toys for under $20 is sure a winner! And slightly OT -- I can't believe the stuff that some of you were finding at your Targets. I never saw most of that around here, even at 30%.

The Up Disney coupon says if is for the Blu-ray combo pack. Is it working on the regular DVD?

About when does that July/Aug toy sale take place?

I was in SuperTarget today & saw yet another rack (in the toy section, on an endcap) for the toy catalogs. There was a guy stocking in that aisle so I asked him if he knew when those catalogs would come out. He called someone & was told Nov. 5. Which is this coming Wednesday. If it doesn't come out in the newspaper this weekend, I will check there on Wed. for sure.

Was in the S. 56th St. Target today & they had a rack for the toy book back on an end cap in Toys. It was empty & I was worried I had missed getting one! I asked a CS -- two employees didn't know what I was talking about & another one came up and said that they hadn't put them out yet. She didn't know when they would come out. I think it makes sense they may come out this weekend.

I thought that I got them because I occasionally fill out those online survey things you get when you check out. I got the $10 off $100 one with the catalog yesterday in Nebraska.

Last Wed. (5/30) I was at a Target (SE Neb.) and saw a guy with a cart (one of the big metal ones) full of Shabby Chic furniture: a chest with drawers, a bookshelf and one of the semicircular tables. I asked him if it was going on clearance & he said, no, it was display models and they were going to take it to the shredder! I asked him if he'd sell it to me -- I had visions of making a big score here. He even called someone but they said that due "to safety issues" they had to shred the furniture. He said that it did seem a waste, but that that was just their policy (which I'd never heard of before -- haven't there been some other stories here about people getting display furniture?). Anyway, I had to be at an appointment in 15 min. so didn't have time to pursue it any further. Just yesterday, however, at the same store I did see a couple of the boxed Shabby Chic semicircular tables on the shelf still but they had no clearance stickers on them. I didn't scan them.
