I don't think people realize that a lot of the pre black Friday sales are the same deals that they have on black Friday. I've been working retail for many years and have learned to do a lot of shopping during the presales. I think people hold out because they think the sale will be better. It's not that it's better, They just add more items to what they originally had during the presale. It's not near as fun as the anticipation of black Friday though, I miss the old days.

Coming from an employee of 18 years, these past few years have been rough on retail. We were delighted when they stopped curbside pickup because we are so short staffed. The few employess that show up every day are stretched very thin. Please be kind to the staff, we do try our best to take care of our customers. Oh, and don't forget your throws!

I see everyone loves the throws as much as I do! Since I work there, I am forced to buy more every year, it's such an addiction. I probably have fifteen or so in my cabinet! I ordered the Pixar throw and it is so much cuter in person than online. Why has nobody mentioned that one? Of course I have the Yoda and Mickey as well!

Back in 2012 I dealt with some sudden health issues that put me in and out of the hospital for several months. My Grandmother gave me a Teddy Bear that sings "I've had a Bad Day" and a coffee mug that says something similar for Christmas that year. She has since passed on and I still consider those my favorite gifts because she was the one person that understood me and what I was dealing with.

I have worked at Kohl's for 16 years, and as much as I enjoyed BF shopping, I am going to miss working the BF sale. It is a lot of fun watching the people run towards the items they want and watching their expressions when they get them. They stand in line and discuss their purchases and the next plan of action. Everybody is generally in a great mood, and it just sets the tone for the Holiday season.

As an employee, just fyi, not all stores carry the Apple Watch. Be sure to call and find out before standing in line at the store.

walmart has this same copy on sale right now for $15. I went ahead and picked it up for the extra $5 bucks.

Check your local Kohl's as well. They get a few at a time, but they do get them. This is one of the those HOT items!

my store received a Nintendo pallet with those on it along with Wii u and games. They normally come in by themselves.

when you place an order to be picked up at the store, it takes a while for the store to receive the order and then they have a few hours to pull the order (although it doesn't always take that long). That is why it says wait for the confirmation email before you come to pick up your order. If you try to pick it up right away, it isn't in our system yet, so the computer won't recognize the order number.

I have worked for Kohl's for 11 years. I know the lines are long, but they move pretty quickly. I think it looks more overwhelming than it really is because there is only one line and not multiple lines lined up at each register. That is our way of keeping it organized and prevents people from cutting in line. I don't know about other stores, but I think mine is fairly organized. I also like to stand in the front as we let people in to point people in the right direction of the items they are looking for.

I collect the snowball and Tuxedo ornaments from Hallmark. My husband has his yearly ornaments, and my kids get yearly ornaments. I have way to many to put on my tree, but I love ornaments! Maybe I just need more trees...

I love those comforters! They are cheaper this year, so I am definitely getting a new one!

Stocking stuffers are one of my favorite things to shop for, but with teenage boys it is starting to get a little tougher. I always get ear buds, and I think I will get a couple portable chargers. That's as far as I have gotten so far. Girls would be so much more fun!

I work at Kohl's and actually enjoy Black Friday. People are generally happy and having fun. What I don't get is the people that come in later or the next day and get angry because we don't have the doorbuster they wanted or the king size comforter they wanted. The associates have no control over the quantity of merchandise.

Don't forget the nice amount of Kohl's Cash you would receive. That makes for a decent deal.

I saw one of these at the KC Royals parade and wondered what it was. Never even heard of them. I work at Kohl's, so it will be interesting to see if we sell any. I am sure we will only get a very small quantity.

I went to Walmart today and happened to find a Mainstays king quilt and sham set for $5. Original price was 24.97. They had a few of them over by the clearance area with other misc. Bedding and housewares. Check your stores!

I got a metal detector junior at 70% off along with some dolls, cabbage patch, littlest pet shop, and some hot wheels sets. I would say most things were marked to 70 with some at 50. Also got some axe bath sets at 50% off.

Big lots still had a lot of stuff. Trees, lights, paper, decor. I got several things!

I am waiting on the bath sets to go down. Most are still at 15% off. It seems like they were cheaper last year at this time.

I went to Walmart around 8am yesterday morning and got mine. They had a bunch left. They also had tons of movies left, so I got all of those I wanted also. I was very surprised!
