  1. Amazon is having a promotional deal if you pay with "Bill Me Later", $20 off $100 or more purchase of video games. So you can get a DS Lite for $109. I'm actually thinking about this deal, I've just never used Bill Me Later before, so I'm a bit leary.
  2. Has anyone used this? They are having a pretty good promotion right now where you can get $20 off $100 or more video game purchase and my son wants a DS lite and I can get one for $109 with this deal. I was just wondering if anyone has used it and how exactly it works. I have the money, I just want to $20 off.

Anyone out there tried this yet?

  3. Does it have to be 2x1gb? You can get a 2gb stick of PNY for under $40(Newegg.com), same with Kingston. According to the specs I looked up on that laptop it tops out at 3gb of memory, so you should be able to put in a 2gb stick and leave in one of the sticks that came with it.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820134549 Kingston.....I think this one has free shipping.

  4. I was looking for a Garmin deal and ended up buying from Radio Shack last week. I got the Nuvi260w for $210. It was on sale for $250 and I had a coupon for $40 off $200 or over.

A friend has the 200 and honestly, while it's a great very basic GPS, I wanted and needed street names, not "turn right in 200 feet". That wasn't very helpful in downtown Boston where there are streets every few feet. I absolutely love hearing "Turn right onto such and such street in .2 miles". It also has pedestrian and bicycle modes.

As for the updated 2009 maps........as long as you update with in 30 days of purchase, it's free. We did ours the day we got it. They also have some fun downloads you can do, games, different icons for cars(we have settled on being a driving slice of pizza).

I think Amazon is having a pretty good sale on GPS's right now.

  5. I actually just bought the laptop in the second link last week or the week before at Best Buy for that same price but with out having to do the mail in rebate. I really like it, it's my first Vista computer so I'm still getting used to it, but overall I'm really liking it.
  6. I used the in store locator at Walmart.com and found that my local store had some this morning. I picked one up for a friend as we already have one. I was really surprised they still had some, I checked at about 10am and didn't actually get there until 2pm and there were still 4 left!

My friend is thrilled and I had some shopping to do anyways! We both won.

I just checked again and my Walmart(Northampton MA) still has them listed as in stock! So does Chicopee, if anyone from around my area is looking.

  7. I've had Prime since last year. Started out with a free trial and I forgot to cancel.....and I'm soooooo glad I did. I do tons of shopping at Amazon and the free 2-day shipping is awesome. The $3.99 for 1-day is great too for last minute stuff. I found tons of stuff that was under $25, besides, I'm impatient, I like that my stuff gets here FAST.

I also like that I can share it with up to 4 people, it brings the total cost of having Prime down to $20 a year for each of us.

I did so much Christmas shopping through Amazon last year, my UPS guy and I were not only on a first name basis, every time I was expecting him I made him some hot chocolate!

I bought this laminator for a friend for Christmas, she absolutely loves it. It's pretty affordable and she said it is very easy to use. I also bought her a few packs of refills. She has been laminating EVERYTHING.

Not sure if you're looking, but they also have a binding machine pretty cheap.
