  1. What is odd is that I got an email saying 6 tins had been shipped.

This is what my email says:

    SKU ID DXT5058

Item Description EAT DRINK & BE MERRY

    Quantity Shipped 2

    Ship Date 11/28/2005

    SKU ID DXT5058

Item Description Eat, Drink, & Be Merry!

    Quantity Shipped 2

    Ship Date 11/28/2005

    SKU ID CBIR1833

    Item Description Birthday (Candles)

    Quantity Shipped 2

    Ship Date 11/28/2005

But when I check the website it says this:

    EAT DRINK & BE MERRY Shipped 2 $9.95 $19.90

    YOU'RE AN ANGEL Backordered 2 $9.95 $19.90

    Subtotal: $39.80

    Delivery Charge: $4.95

    Sales Tax: $0.00

    Total: $44.75

  2. Neither. I try to be in the same ballpark with both in the number of items, just so one isn't opening 20 gifts and one opening 5!

But they want what they want. I'm not going to buy one extra stuff that they never asked for just to even it out to an exact number. With money, it's the same. If I can get the items they really, really want I'm happy. They're 9, 7 and 2, and I don't think any will whip out a calculator and see who got the most. Yet. Hehe!

  3. Exactly--the older they get, the less they "need" but the more expensive their "wants" become. My kids want cameras, surround sound, sewing machines, and a car :-)

Yep! Our list includes a Gameboy, PS2 games, portable dvd players (I'm one of those crazies buying multiple items), swim backpacks (you don't wanna know :g_laughin ), American Girl doll items and an Itty Bitty Baby, and I splurged on a wooden Kidcraft kitchen for my youngest. It all added up so quickly!

  4. I just read my Audiovox Sirius radio rebate - it was free after 2 rebates - the CompUSA one and the Sirius one. With the Sirius one you have to sign up for service with a CC, then they have to make sure you're going to stay with them, then you wait 8-10 weeks for your rebate! I'm glad I wasn't counting on that money any time soon.
