Has anyone heard of any rumors of compusa computer deals? They had some of the best deals last year just not as talked about as bestbuy or walmart.

Walmart in my town does a promotion every year where everybody in town gets a paper delivered to their house sometime the week before thanksgiving with their sales ad inside not sure what day it is. you might want to check your local store.....

I've got an Acer 19 inch lcd it's pretty decent but no dvi. I think it's going for slightly less than 250 at newegg now. It's not as good as samsung though.

I think alot of people were frustrated with eb and gamestop because they had already paid for a preorder then those guys were selling systems on their websites in ridiculous bundles to make extra profit. Meanwhile the people that had already paid for a single core or premium 360 without extra games and stuff couldn't get the ones they had already paid for FIRST! No wonder people are mad.

My walmart has had them since midnght saturday and still have them in stock. I guess the big run on them is over?

I saw in my walmart they will be having a minimum 12 xbox 360s at 12am jan 1st. They had a flyer up stating that according to this week's sale ad they would have at least 12. It also said there would be no more until jan 1st. Has anybody else seen this? I wonder if this is going to kick off a big sale?

I ordered from KB toys on the 14th still hasn't arrived even though promised by Christmas. This was supposed to be delivered by DHL also.

yeah that sounds about right it has been showing scheduled for delivery or out for delivery since Dec 23. I wish they used UPS or FEDEX I oredered something else from Walmart on the 18th and got it the 22nd but that was UPS. They didn't have an option of what company to use next time I will ask.

I ordered a Care Bear Tender Heart Check up bear for my little girl Dec 14th still hasn't arrived even though they promised for Christmas. Did anybody else have problems with KB? But they won't give it until up to 10 days after it is received back if we ever get it!

check www.newegg.com for dvd burners they have quite a few for under $40 ond $4.89 three day shipping! these are the oem packs mostly without a lot of the extra software and stuff. although an oem pack i ordered there one time still came with it!

I tried to order an xbox 360 from their site but it wouldn't let me finish the deal so I called customer service in India btw and got no help at all. They couldn't even speak good english

Mara I went through the same thing with circuit city even called number of course customer service is in India so it was uphill battle lol the first time i saw it was in stock price actually came up as free but it wouldn't let check out

at my bestbuy they said they will actually receive the xbox 360 shipment on 15th or 16th but won't sell until 18th because of advertising in new circular begining 18th

bestbuy may be my best chance to get one the local walmart employees are keeping them for themselves and selling on ebay through friends. Someone I know found one at walmart last week and the employee working in electronics refused to sell it to them at first saying things like " this isn't supposed to be out here" "it's on hold" and a long list of other excuses and finally sold it when they were threatened with calling the store manager
