1. Does sears give out tickets for their doorbusters?

They did at ours last year when they were giving out the $10 giftcards, but not for the doorbuster items.

  2. I emailed Target and just received this email:

It sounds like you have some questions about our price adjustment policy.

We're able to make adjustments on sale merchandise if we advertise a lower price either the same week or the week following your Target purchase. Adjustments can be made with your original receipt and as a reminder this service isn't available on clearance merchandise.

Items in the 2-Day sale ad during Black Friday follow normal price adjustment guidelines. Therefore, if the item was purchased on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday of the same week as the sale, or any day the week before, it is eligible for price adjustment.

Want to check the price of something? Just stop by Guest Service during your next visit. Our team members will be happy to help you.

Target provides the latest merchandise at the lowest possible price. Be sure to check out our circular online and stay up-to-date with what's on-sale.

So it sounds like a go. . .

After reading this, it is confusing. The first line says it must be purchased the same week or the week FOLLOWING your purchase. Later, it says an adjustment can be made if purchased any day the week BEFORE.

I don't think I'll take any chances and wait until at least next Sunday to purchase the items.

  4. the Sony blue ray on sale on black Fri is it worth the money? also i see it on sale at kmart on thanksgiving day same model # and price

I have the older versions of Sony blu ray and love it. Hope to get in on this one on BF. I do wonder how it compares with the Sharp Aquos blu ray that will be on sale on Friends and Family night.

BTW, BB has this same Sony blu ray on sale on BF for $249. ????

  5. My 5 year old son just told me yesterday that he really wants a nintendo ds for christmas. I was looking at prices and thought they would have came down a little, they have been out for a while now, havent they? While looking at the ds's I ran into the PSP. Which has gone down in price. I would love to hear what someone has to say in comparing the two. This would be his major item for christmas and like I said he is only 5 and could possible be rough with it. Any comments/suggestions? TIA

The "new" DS is being released sometime after Christmas this year. Wouldn't surprise me if you start seeing some good bundle prices coming closer to Christmas.

  6. Sears is showing a good attitude towards bargain hunter shoppers with this press release... unlike Walmart or Big Lots' unfriendly - even adversarial - behavior.

Sears attitude alone compared to other stores will make me shop at Sears. I have decided to avoid the "unfriendly" stores if at all possible! Just a way to make my statement.

  7. Thanks for the information. I had a dentist appt. today so I stopped by Target today and was still 30% off here to. I'm officially stalking this, the margarita maker and the 28 bottle wine cellar. With my luck they will get marked down further over the next couple of days while I am out of town. Good luck to you on getting one.

The wine cellar went to 50% off at the Target here yesterday.

  8. I was finally able to order one. They were out of stock in so many areas but I finally found them in Iowa so if anyone lives in Iowa and wants one they have them there. What I did was found it in Iowa (use zip code 52204) and from there was able to add it to my cart. I just paid the $65 to deliver it because they would not ship it to my store for free and it did not seem like a lot to me for $65 shipping where they bring it into your house. Good Luck.

The $65 delivery is worth it. This is heavy! Awesome deal. I'm tempted to get another one as a Christmas gift.

  9. I finally caved at such a great price. This will be a great gift for Christmas. I ended up buying Sears gift cards at Kroger through my Kroger gift card. 4% of the face amount of the gift cards will go to pay for DD's soccer fees. Then, I went through ebates to save 2% and also used the $5 off coupon.

Zooskoo, have you liked the arcade? It's not a good deal if my kids won't use the thing!

We love it, but it is the OLD style games. It certainly isn't the type of games on xbox or ps
