  1. And to think Black Friday comes the day after Thanksgiving every year. No surprises there! Good Night- good morning everyone. I am going to try and get an hour sleep before I head out and I wont be going to Kohls!
  2. If you really want to go to the Outlet in Williamsburg and you want to go to Kohls also, you can try the Kohls store in Hampton. It is on your way back to VABeach. Also if you are a Walmart and Target shopper the Walmart is about 5 minutes away and Target about 10 minutes away from the outlet. Between the Peninsula and Tri-City area you will have completed all of this and next year's Christmas Shopping by the time you reach home.
  3. I got my kids' Heelys from shoes.com. They start at $59.99 and go up from there. I think I paid $44.99 plus tax(?) on each pair(no shipping!!!). Search this site for the latest discount code or you can call shoes.com and ask if they have any coupon codes that are currently available. I got the Heelys as Christmas gifts for my kids. They have a very good return policy at shoes.com but I don't think I will have to return because I originally took my kids to Sports Authority to window shop for Christmas and get some ideas. They didn't have the sizes I needed in the style that my kids like at Sports Authority. The sale associates says they can't keep them in the stores and to try online. Well the shipping was a little pricey for me plus the shoes were not on sale. I searched the this site for general discounts codes and found Shoes.com. I searched shoes.com website and found that they sold Heelys. Now Heelys are showcased on the home page so you won't have to search for them. Pointers: 1. Look for discount codes on this website or call shoes.com 2. They don't come in half sizes. 3. When doing the search for Heelys on the net, several comments I found from customers that had brought Heelys say to buy a size larger and others say they are true to size. When my kids tried them on in the stores they felt more comfortable in a size larger than there regular shoe size. Downside is that they didn't want to take them off. So glad that it wasn't the color and style that they really wanted!!! 3. Don't wait to late. The stores have a hard time keeping them in stock. I am not sure about online. I have been told from my kids and my kids' friends that anyone that doesn't already have them has listed them on their Christmas list. Hope this helps
  4. Let me know when you find it. I use to work there and I guess they keep me in the dark about that one!
  5. Usually the first week in October. The VIPs(customer on their mailing list) get their's in the mail earlier.
  6. They disperse inventory to all stores. Believe me there is not a certain amount of product that they want you to buy. They want you to buy all of it. They want your money. It all involves good planning by the merchandisers and how fast the makers can produce and ship their product to the warehouse. The research has been done. They are making sure you get a deal while in the meantime they make a profit. Believe me the manager is just upset as you are if they don't get their inventory. They don't like to hear "we don't have it" or "there is a delay" just as much as you don't. They don't want any upset customers and they do want a fully stock store with merchandise they can sell. Their bonus depends on it!!!!
  7. I will also ask about the coming Holiday sales and BF sales.
  8. Clearance is usually pretty good. I am going to check out the store next week and check out the summer items. I hope I am not to late next week but can't do it this week.
  9. Went there last night. Ours is still 30% off off school supplies and lawn and garden items. I got a better deal on the same school supply items back in August. They did have packs of 10 single subject(wide and college rule) notebooks for only 50 cents each!
  10. None available in VA! I could have given it to my brother who will be going away to college next year. Bummer!
  11. If I were you I would get a hotel where most of the stores that you want to go to is located. Also I would ask a friend to tag along for two reason, one for safety and the other to have someone to split the cost of the hotel. I am lucky because all of the stores are within 15 minutes of each other. But I paid my dues beacuse I grew up in a small town where the closest Grandma and Pop store was considered a family outing. lol
  12. If you have a costco around try them. You can even price their medication at their online site. Also check with your insurance company. There may be an less expensive medication that can be used in place of what the doctor prescribe(give that information to your doctor). Check with insurance company and ask for a Preferred, Standard, and Premium drug list. Fax or take that list to your doctor. I don't think that this will help now that you have started your daughter's medication but it should help next time. Also if you have to take preventive mediacation or a medication for more than 60 days check with your insurance company and/or pharmacy and see if they have any programs that offer a 90 day supply for the cost of only 2 co-pays, like buy 2 get one free. These are usually mail order prescription. Also you can see if you have a healthcare spending account avaiable through your employeer. This is a tax free "savings account" for medical expences. Your employeer takes out the amount you have alloted before taxes. This money can be used for healthcare expenses such as co-pays for doctor's visit and prescriptions. But be careful because what every you don't use you lose so make sure you make a good estimation on how much they deduct from you pay each week.
