  1. Not sure if this is the right board for this question, but here we go:

I got the code to get the Roboreptile on the Amazon.com vote sale, $30...I believe that is a good price, right?

I remember reading awhile back a discussion about a couple of the robot toys and where one was much better than the other, but I can't find that thread. I think I remember someone said that the one they had couldn't walk on any floor....

Is the Roboreptile the good toy or the junk toy???

  2. I never got the bucks in my paper, but I got an email this morning with a link to see all the items on sale and santa bucks, but when I click it, I get a 'page not found' message! uhoh...

going today, hopefully they'll have some by the doors

  3. I would probably not say anything...is that wrong? I bought a game for my kids this weekend that they've been wanting...I had to wait until they weren't with me to get it. I didn't realize until I had already checked out that it rang up wrong...it was a $14 game and rang up for $3!!!!! Normally I would have gone right back and told them and paid the difference....I didn't this time...my conscience isn't eatting me up over it, but I'm still wondering if I should go back...

I guess I struggle with the 'right and wrong' of these situations...

    sigh

  4. It would be neat if they did it....but it would be a HUGE cost thing for them....since none of the current stores are set up for it, they would have to totally construct not only an 'in-take area' but also a storage area, and since WM said they got rid of it cause they always lost money on it...I dunno....I'd love to see them reinvent the wheel and do something like this, but I thought Target's whole 'thing' was that they were a cut ABOVE Walmart...

"would you like to open a Target credit account?" has been their standard answer for so long when ever asked about LAW...I dunno if they could handle it! lol

  5. I still think not putting an ad out is a big mistake. Personally, even though I KNOW that WM prices are good, I just got done sitting down with my fliers and post-it's to mark what I need to get this week, and when I'm out running around, I probably won't even go IN to WM cause I don't have an ad for them. Maybe I'm a minority in this way, but I really need the visual reminder this time of year. And yes I know that WM price matches, but I've noticed that a LOT of stores are doing percentage off sales, and WM does NOT pm those. With the cost of gas, it isn't cost effective for me to run to WM to check the price of the item I want and then go to the other store...blah blah blah

anyway, I do think there is something to what you are saying here, but I still think it's a flaw in WM's marketing this year. Didn't I hear something last week about WM getting rid of their marketing people from this year? THAT would be one of their best steps....that and bringing back LAW....
