  1. Amazon's deals aren't usually "leaked" because they don't have any printed ads to get out early.

Last year we just had to wait until midnight Thursday night and the deals were there. They also had their Gold Box "Lightning Deals" every hour of the day.

Yeah, I remember being up at 3am to get the Animal Crossing bundle for Wii. LOL

I just thought that their deals were advertised a little sooner than Thanksgiving. Thanks, Brad...I knew you'd know! ;)

  2. Me too! I've got my $100 promo credit from the XBOX360 deal and I am hoping that there will be a $99 netbook for my 8 year old so he will quit hijacking my laptop. :)

Anyone know when Amazon's Black Friday deals were leaked/posted last year? I searched but could not find info on that.

    C'mon Amazon!

  3. Anyone have the Kid-Riffic Jump n Jam Trampoline or know anything about it?

I'd love to get it for my 2 yr old niece who loves to jump if it's any good.

My son has the Jump Smart trampoline (we got it from target.com last year for Christmas). He absolutely LOVES it. He gets on it every morning before school to exercise. The music is a little bit loud, and there is no volume control, LOL. It plays music or counts when you jump. I remember it being a little bit hard to put together, but it was well worth the money we paid for it. My son was 6 when we bought it, but all of my nieces and nephews (and all of my son's friends) who come over are immediately attracted to the trampoline. Definitely a good investment, IMO, and very stable so you don't really worry about them getting hurt too much.

  4. I bought bathing suits on ebay before our 7 day Disney Cruise in October but we had it planned for 2 yrs so I bought up all the summer clearance clothes!! I did however have a heck of a time with sandals & flip flops!! I just lucked out finding some on clearance at a Walmart not near us! Have a good time! We LOVED it!

Hey! We're going on a 7 night Disney Cruise this October! We went on a 3 night one a couple of years ago and loved it. I guess I'm going to look on eBay for our "formal" clothes. I don't really want to spend a lot on stuff we'll wear only once.

  5. I quit buying stuff from TRU because of their return policy. My kids got a bunch of junk from my in-laws for Christmas, stuff that actually said "Geoffrey" and/or "Exclusively Marketed for Toys R Us" on the back of the boxes, and Toys R Us WOULD NOT return the stuff, even for store credit. We didn't ask for gift receipts from the in-laws because we didn't want to offend them (and besides, you don't just TELL people you don't like their gift!!). Anyway, when we went to TRU, they told us we'd have to fill out this form in order to return the stuff. On the form, they wanted us to fill in the purchaser's name, address and phone number, as well as the type of payment used to buy the item. If a credit card was used, they wanted to know the credit card number and type of card. If a checking account was used, they wanted to know the account number. Then, the form asked which store it was purchased at and on what date. WHO THE HECK knows all of this information when they are trying to return a gift? I have NO idea if my SIL used a credit card, what store she purchased at, or any of that information. It's just ridiculous to expect that when my kids get a gift they don't like that I'd even CONSIDER asking a relative for their account number so that I can return it. Needless to say, we did not have all of this information to return the TRU junk, so my kids basically did not get anything from my DH's side of the family. I called TRU's corporate office and they were no help. I just don't understand why they couldn't at least give an in-store credit. I would've been happy to let my kids exchange what they didn't want for something that they wanted. I have told this story to all of (my side) of the family as well as friends. I am boycotting TRU and have asked that no one purchase things for my kids from TRU because of their policy. **end of rant**
  6. You can call their 800 number and cancel. You can tell them anything and they will just cancel it. I cancelled my order the other day. We just wanted the coffee maker. As a matter of fact, I received an order of coffee and was shocked at how much it was (especially shipping) so I called back and told them I didn't want the order. As long as you didn't open the package they will take it back. Write "return to sender" on the box and stick it in your mailbox No POSTAGE either!!

So if I cancel I have to send the coffee maker back? I wanted to keep my $10 deal but not get anything else.
