Hope it goes well for you today. I would say that it's an honest mistake and if your dh goes in there with a "oops, I think you made a mistake, can we get this fixed" but is super nice, I doubt they will give him any problems. Hope it all works out for you.

most ads show the date as being Friday. Check them out. Most stores are closed on Thanksgiving Day with the exception of Kmart and Mejiers.

candles
ornaments
coffee mugs
homemade treats (I ate very few of them - unless I knew the parent extremely well, it's just too risky!)
Great ideas would be:
gift cards - walmart, staples, coffee shop, bookstore
how about a treat basket - buy a cheap basket and some 100 calorie packs or individually packed snacks and put together a little basket - teachers need a boost too once and a while, you could put juice boxes or soda in them as well
A travel mug (used much more often by teachers on the go than a regular coffee mug) and hot chocolate, hot cider, or coffee singles

Really the only thing that I "need" is the My Little Pony sets - those are on my Angel Tree girls list. Where is the best place to price match instead of driving 30 minutes out of the way?

If I find a good enough deal ($50 IMO is not a good enough deal) - then I will be getting one for my dad as well as my FIL and possibly my grandparents. :) I have one and I like it!

Last year we went for the stuffed chairs - we got a puppy for dd :) She loves it! This year we'll be going, but really the only "must" have is the B1G1 Leap Frog toys!

I've gone to Target the past few years to hunt for a specific game or DVD that
was on sale.. and there was nothing but an empty space there. When I asked,
they said "sorry they were all gone within the 1st hour.. "
From what I heard, they could restock them as the day/weekend goes by,
but I have never seen it happen. But then again, I never went back in to target
during that weekend.
Thanks! I'm thinking the Call of Duty 4 game is going to go fast and DH really really wants it! Also the Twin doll set for my dd! Those two things are probably worth going early for!
