I got in line at 2 am and stood in line for 3 very cold hours here in Rockford, IL. so my boyfriend who's in a wheelchair could have that darned 22" flat screen monitor he's been lusting after. I was #157 in line. When I got in side I knew right where to go and the stack had already dwindled down and hardly any were left and I saw people with carts full. I was able to get one. It was all I needed. $300 off is was a great deal. Last year he gave me the money for the 19" Samsung flat screen for $229 and last year that seemed like a good deal.

I would have worn warm shoes. I went to Best Buy at 2am and wore my Crocs. They were comfortable, they just weren't warm. What was I thinking. After 3 hours in the cold I was dying. I wanted to tie my scarf around my feet. I got my 22" flat screen monitor for $200. And my portible DVD player and my 2 Gig flash drive there. Then I was off to Office Depot for my $8 CDR's for $8. I was home by 7 am. I was happy but exhausted.

I'm sorry this is a shopping day that kids should be left at home. One mother at Best buy at 5am was stopping all around the store screaming at the top of her lungs "Scott...Timmy!" Over and over. KEEP YOUR KIDS AT HOME PEOPLE!

I'll never do this again with Best Buy. You know they bank on you not wanting to go thru the hassle and hope you won't try for the rebates and not mail it all in. I did get a customer service number for Samsung for the monitor rebate but they are only open Mon - Fri 7am to 10 pm. I'm going to call them monday before I send anything. I'm mad as hell at Best Buy over these rebates! NEVER AGAIN! I bought 3 items yesterday with rebates totaling over $200. So of course I want those rebates! 2 of the items were the same items and they never said the rebates were one per person and one per household. Well, I'll just have the other one sent to my mom and to her house. I can get over that. But I saw some people loading up on these. They will never get the rebates. Now I bought a 19" Samsung flat screen monitor that had a $60 best buy rebate and two different $30 rebates thru samsung. Reading the two $30 rebates from samsung they won't give you both. So I might loose out $30. But of course the price they post in the sales paper shows you can get all these rebates but you can't. It's one rebate per person per house and can't be combined. What a scam! I called best buy customer service and basicaly said sorry we can't help you they are manufacturers rebates and we can't help you with those.

My target had tons left. Limit 2 per person. I couldn't believe that. Wish I grabbed 2 but only took one. Later in the day (9am) I went to Kmart and they had a polaroid 5.1 mega pixel on sale for less than $100 and I got that. They said they were even suprized they had some left at that time. Good Job Target & Kmart! I went to Best Buy first (4:30 am and stood in a line that wrapped around the building) and buy the time I got in the cameras were sold out.

I agree. After being at Best Buy at 4:30 am and waiting in a line that wrapped all the way around the building I did not get the 5 mega pixel camera I wanted. I left Best Buy at 6am with out the camera and headed over to Target to kill time till walgreens opened. I got a better deal on the same camera and it was limit 2 and they had tons of them left. Kudos to Kmart who also had a 5.1 mega pixel camera for under $100 (polaroid) at 9am left!
