We had so much fun that we also plan on making this a yearly thing:) Yep those white lights could be blinding - DH said next year he is going to bring his sunglasses:D

Yes we had a great time! DH and I have decided to make going a yearly activity. Yeah there was a mix of clothing in Fort Wayne also. We sat in the ninth row on the floor left of centerstage. They certainly have some bright white lights!

DH and I are going to see them tonight! I can't wait. I really hope they are as great as what I have heard. Just a question, how dressed up should we be? I'm planning to wear a black skirt with a pink top and DH is going to wear dress pants and a nice shirt, does this sould ok? I don't want to end up being over or under dressed.

I understand what you mean....I spend the same amount on my step kids, BUT then they come over and talk about all the other presents they got at their moms house and my son feels bad becasue he doesn't have Christmas twice. It's not fair for him to feel bad either!
I know what you're talking about, that happens at our house too but then I think to myself about the whole year and I know I spend lots more on my two then my DSD so it evens out.

Honestly, it depends on the year. DH and his ex girlfriend share the holidays so this year we will have DSD on Christmas Eve and all three kids will get the same amount of gifts then on Christmas Day when we only have our two they will get some extra gifts. Nothing like Christmas Eve but some extra's just so that we feel like we get to enjoy Christmas Day also. Next year we will have DSD on Christmas Day so there will be no extra gifts for the other two since we will all be together on Christmas Day. I have done this for the last six years and it has worked out great so I plan to continue to do so until they are older.

Cherry Delight
Crust:
2 packs of Graham Crackers crushed
1 stick of melted butter
1/2 cup of sugar
Mix all ingredients, spread on the bottom of a 13 x 9 dish lightly sprayed with non-stick spray. Gently push down on the crust just enough to help it to stick together while serving. Back at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. DO NOT OVER BAKE!! Let this cool completely.
White Delight:
2 packs of Dream Whip: Make according to box
then add 2 large room temp. Philly Cream Cheese, 1/2 cup of sugar, 4 tablespoons milk. Sometimes depending on my mood I also add 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Blend well, this can be a little lumpy which is fine. Spread mixture evenly over the cooled crust.
Cherry Topping:
Depending on taste 1-2 large cans of Thank You Cherries spreading evenly on the top of the white delight leaving a 1 inch border all the way around the rim of the dish. You can also use strawberries instead of cherries depending on your tastes.
Cover and keep in fridge.

Personal, I think the bottles lot rather small and if she is a huge HM fan like my DSD your best bet would be to go to a store such as Libby Lu and buy her the full size bottle that is like $20.00. It smells really good, plus they also have a roll on stick perfum tube with two different smells on each end and they both smell really good too.

I will admit, I am a QVC addict! Last year at this time I spent so much money that DH has locked the channel this year so I can't even watch it! I've been working on him for the last couple weeks and I think I'm breaking him down!

One of us women always makes a cherry or strawberry delight for dessert. I would say it is everyone favorite dessert. I don't have the recipe right now since I'm at work but if anyone wants it I will add it later.

Yes I count them as gifts. In my opinion if it's not needed at the moment then it's a gift. Plus I usually buy them more stylish/expensive clothes for christmas then I do for the start of school.

I too run to Ft Wayne to TRU...We tend more and more to go there instead of battle creek since its almost same distance for us but so much more in fort wayne We went to zoo boo on saturday and TRU and didnt see book in store yet ...will have to get a paper for it
Hi, we went to the zoo boo on saturday too! My DSD was a kleenex box, DS was a motorcross racer, and DD was a cowgirl with a horse.

Okay I just talked to my husband and he said the PSP Panio Black System is listed for $169.99, PSP Silver Daxter Entertainment Pack is $199.99, and several games are listed at $39.99.
According to what I just looked up on toysus.com there isn't any savings on the PSP or video games.

We do't have a toysrus in our town, so we don't get one. I have to wait til the store has them and go get one. Anything good in it? Any psp or ames for it?
Where in Ohio are you are? I am east of Newark.
I'm in the northwest corner pretty much right on the Ohio/Indiana state line. The closest toys r us to me is Fort Wayne Indiana but it's only like a 30-40 min drive depending on traffic. I honestly don't know what is in it yet other than what my kids were talking about and that was Cars stuff and babies.
I do remember from the back cover that the plush toy this year is elmo who is laying on his stomach and it's I believe $7.99 when you spend so much money. Plus we also got an extra paper that had a paper gift card type of thing that you can save $10.00 when you spend $100.00 plus you also can receive a $10.00 gift card when you spend $100.00 or more. There was another coupon but I don't remember what it was.

Yes that is it. Thanks, it was driving me nuts not being able to find it. Not sure I like the $80 price tag since it comes with so little. I think I'll check it out at target this weekend.

The other night I seen a commercial for a new playhouse that had a mom and daughter playing. The house looked like it was plastic and quite a good size and it comes with furniture that the daughter could set on. Does anyone know what I'm talking about, what it's called, or where I can buy it? I have done general searches for playhouse without an luck.

That camera is getting bad reviews on amazon. I look for her guitars to be very popular also. They were to be in toys r us stores this month but the one close by me has not seen any and think they won't until closer to christmas.

DH and I haven't been able to find what we want to go at the top of our tree. Our tree is Coca Cola themed, it's a white tree with red lights and coca cola ornaments.
I want your Coca Cola tree! I have an angel and a bow that I can use. The past several years I have been using the bow with matching ribbon hanging down the sides. DH and I both love it but everyone else in my family hates it because everyone uses angels and think that is the only thing that should be on top of a tree. I love being the odd ball in my family!

This year I'll work until noon then we will have our christmas at home and spend the rest of the time playing with the kids and watching movies. Then we have to take DSD home at 9 pm. The other two go to bed and we set a couple more presents out for them and then we go to bed.

Last year was the first time DH and I went on TD. We went to Meijer and Walmart and we got some really good deals. I will probably go again this year.
