These ideas are hilarious. lol

My husband and I sneak into the kids room and put their stockings on each of their desks. They love waking up early and seeing them... The rule is they can get up and see the stockings, but have to wait till my husband and I are up to go downstairs. That means mom and dad have to start coffee first (haha) and put christmas lights on. I have to get video camera ready too. Its like a herd of cattle when we tell them to come down. lol

I found some stocking stuffers for my dogs today at Walmart. Some clearance toys. Cute stuffed skunk with a squeaker for $1.00

Never really bring anything. I shop alone so don't want to bring anything I have to put in the car. Always scared someone behind me or in front of me won't hold my place in line. Im a talker. lol. So I always just meet new people and discuss deals, etc. It makes the time go quicker.

Im traditional. No real theme. I love the look of different colored bulbs and wooded ornaments all over. Now my sister is fancy. She has the maroon and gold theme, etc. She goes all out to have a fancy tree. Thats not me. lol

One year I made ornaments for my family and friends. I was with my one friend who knows how to put pics on them, etc. We had a ornament party with ourselves and made them for gifts. My sister LOVED that gift that year. She actually cried over them (I made an ornament for each of her 3 children).

Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I don't really need or want anything for myself... I just love giving gifts to family and friends and seeing my kids get so excited.

Forgot to say I did catch myself the other day humming the Rudolph song. lol

Ordered my daughter's portable dvd player she wanted. Its an online only special so had to go that route. I had so many Walmart gift cards that I got it for only $8.xx and it ships free to the store. (my husband's work gives walmart gift cards out like candy for excellent work, attendance, helping with training classes, and/or providing a safety tip for the plant- and it they use it.. bam... another $25 giftcard.

My son will get a camcorder (one of those flip ones) and a digital camera. He is starting to grow his whiskers haha (this is sad for me... my baby is growing up too fast) so I bought a very nice razor set. Dad will have to show him the techniques of shaving. lol

Too early for me. I don't mind when it starts in November, but Halloween isn't over yet! lol

What a wonderful thing your sister does. My family adopts another family every year. We should know the family we adopt by mid November. I always buy throughout the year though as I try to ask for a family with girls (boys too, but what I buy throughout the year is clearance stuff like makeup sets, perfume, hair accessories etc). I have a stock pile of cologned that I got from Target now and Axe body sets. Also have TONS of razor gift sets for both girl/boy teens. My kids always get involved in this and its a great way to teach them about life. Every third Saturday (when I can go) my aunt runs the food bank and we volunteer there too. My son helps load vehicles and my daughter greets the families.

Stockings as a kid was my favorite part. Seriously. So now that Im a mom I LOVE putting together stockings. My 3 dogs also have their own stockings. lol

Alot of food clearance in my Target yesterday- was there right when they were marking it down further: Snicker minature bars... 1.24 each (bought all 8) Used $1 off of 3 coupons (x2) and $1 off one bag Hershey candy (x2). Hannah montana and High School musical granola bars.. 1.24 each Stride rite gum .48 each Cookie dough candy (movie theatre type boxes) .68 each Keebler crackers.. 1.02 Cheez it crackers 1.02 (used $1 off coupons and got them for .02 each) Slim Jim 5 packs of meat stick boxes.. .24 each box. I bought all 22 boxes (yes my husband and kids love these in their lunches). Archer Farms individual juices .32 each. Bought 8 of them Keebler peanut butter filled cookies: 1.24 for a package Keebler mint cookies 1.24 a package Carbonated mints .68 each

Im more looking to see what deals there will be in general. If stores really put out some good ads. Im pretty much done with my kids so don't need anything, but still looking forward to seeing what will be out there

I avoid BB at all costs. I went in one time for a dvd my husband wanted and this cd holder. I waited over 2 hours just to buy them. Thankfully it was my last stop, otherwise I wouldn't have gone in.
