  1. I have two boys (ages 5 and 6) and we have the V-Smile and Leapster both. The V-Smile wins hands down in popularity, and has since day one. Every once in a while they will play the Spiderman game on the Leapster, and they like the letter game, but that's about it. The V-Smile has a great selection of games and some of them are really educational. We were waiting in line the other day and my 5yo starts rattling off all these facts about different planets. I think it's great that he's learning but he's having fun too.
  2. I stopped by Target yesterday morning and found a couple of deals I thought I'd share. Barbie Tricycle, reg $30.99, clearanced for $15.48. http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/sr=1-1/qid=1189004693/ref=sr_1_1/601-7220234-4430535?ie=UTF8&asin=B000FIAKJI 8 piece luggage set, reg $89.99, clearanced for $22.48 (though still marked $44.xx). http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref=sc_ri_1/601-7220234-4430535?ie=UTF8&asin=B000MD8746 Oh yea, they also had a 16" bike clearanced 50% off. Now $30.xx, down from $60, but I can't remember which one it was. I'll look online and see if I see it. They also had some summer shoes, including beach/water shoes, marked down 75%.
  3. Here it is at Walmart for $268.88. I don't recall how much it was last year so I don't know if this is a better price or not. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4875172
  4. Here's the DPCI for the Bistro Grille: 204 09 0046
  5. My boys just turned 5 and 6 and they both love it! Hands down winner over the Leapster.
  6. I'm in Canton (south of Akron). Went to two stores today and they were both had things at 75% off. Both still had quite a bit at 30-50% too.
  7. My store had some crocs on sale too, for those of you that like them. It only seemed to be certain colors though.
  8. I saw these at my store today too, as well as the Trivial Pursuit DVD game.
  9. I found some really great kids chairs at Walgreens the other day! I can't find a picture of them but they're wooden and have a red, blue, green and yellow padded cover on them. Regular price was $19.99 and they were on clearance for $4.99!
  10. I was coming to post about the headphones someone already mentioned. They're Jabra, known to be good quality. I've only used them with my phone (not my ipod yet) so far but the sound is great! I was having trouble finding a wireless one that I liked (without any static!) so I decided to just get a corded one instead. Regular price was $34.99, I paid $8.74 (75% off). http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/sr=1-12/qid=1176768555/ref=sr_1_12/602-8526241-9936665?ie=UTF8&asin=B00083LGI4

  12. The Scenera convertible car seat was down to $20 at my Kmart. As of yesterday afternoon there was still one left. It's the store in Massillon, Ohio. Most of the toys were ringing up just a little less than the sticker price.
  13. Thanks for the heads up! I live in Heck Knows Where. :) It's in Canton (south of Akron).
  14. Just wanted to point out the OP said she found a cover, not a mattress pad. It sounded like the other two posters were hoping to find an actual mattress pad for this price and I didn't want anyone making an unecessary trip. OP - please correct me if I'm wrong.
  15. I do the same thing!! LOL And I love Frogger so I didn't give it much thought when it went in the cart. But it really is a fun game and the graphics are even good. It's just like the Frogger game for the Gamecube.
  16. Just a heads up if you haven't opened it yet - it may be a computer game, not for the tv. I bought one too, if it's the same one, and was surprised when I opened it that it had a USB plug. When I looked at the packaging closer I saw it did say that, I just didn't read it well enough in the store. Mine is royal blue. Still a good price, I just thought I'd warn you in case you don't want a computer game and you can return it before you open it.
  17. Which store did you find the jelly in? Massilon?? I found the toilet paper at the Canton store today. I bought three of them but there were plenty left. One was on the endcap and the rest were across from it on the regular shelf. Some weren't marked, some were.
  18. Today I found a wooden audio/video storage shelf that holds something like 270 dvd/cd's (can't remember off the top of my head how many vhs'). I'm going to use it in the basement to store small items that I want to be able to access but that I don't use very often. It was regularly $40 on clearance for $5.xx (85% off).
  19. Did you go to the Massillon one? I went there (I wonder if I saw you??) and was at the Canton one before that. They were more picked over and I was there earlier.
  20. Too funny!!! And you were so right, except it didn't take me an hour or two, only about 10 minutes and I went to get the kids ready. Not only did I go, but I found so many things I wanted (none of which I felt I needed at 50%!) that I went to two stores. At the first I got about $400 worth of things for $100. At the second, the cashier made two errors (that I didn't notice until I looked at my receipt at home), and I got $241 worth of stuff for only $28! The kids weren't behaving and I was so ready to get home, but I am SOOO glad I went out!
  21. I will not go...I will not go...I will not go...
  22. Got it - I misinterpreted the 5 internet coupons. I was reading it as 5 allowed with 5 items, not 5 allowed regardless of number of items being purchased. Thanks for clarifying. I went in today and bought a bunch of Valentines stuff - mostly for other people - but got some great things. They had some really cute teddy bears, cute girls clothes and some great chocolate left. I bought a couple of other small things and ended up with $209 worth of things for only $38!
  23. Sounds like you're talking about 2 different things. One manf coupon and one internet coupon per item is right (they're basically just saying you can't use two manf coupons or two internet coupons on the same item, which is standard). Five internet coupons per transaction is also right, but that's assuming you're buying five of the same thing and have a coupon for each one. Does this make sense?
  24. I'm glad you mentioned sheets. I went back today and found some 600 TC California King for $38.xx!
  25. On that same page that had the Choxie coupon, there was one for Archer Farms Organic Salsa. I know some of them expired but am not sure if that was one of them. Anyway, the coupon was for $1 off. It was regularly $2.49 and was clearanced for $1.74 at my store, so I only paid .74 cents per jar.
