  1. I would assume it is SATA the original, not the new SATA II which has the 3.0GBs transfer rate. (theoretical, I think.) Btw Nautical, for these 'better' projectors, are any of them anywhere near 450$?
  2. I am very psyched about finally getting a DLP projector for under 500$ (even if it is after rebates.
  3. If you can only buy one of the items, buy whatever you dont have a ticket for, and try and take the ticketed items back to get a ticket perhaps? or exchange them with someone woh hasnt redeemed their ticket yet.
  4. Best buy has a 150 dollar desktop, with no rebates, a sub 400 dollar laptop with no rebates, a 256MB MP3 player for 40 bucks? (or 512, one or the other), and a projector for 450, all of which I will be getting. Good deals if you ask me.
  5. 10PM, and I will stop by there at 9PM to see if anyone is there. (Yes I want to be first this year.)
  6. http://goldenpalacecasio.com or something like that.
  7. I was hoping for some better deals on HD's like I found last year, and a better deal on a gaming video card, then the x700's, which are alittle too low end for me to consider.
  8. It says Celeron 340 which makes me think its a 2.93Ghz Celeron.
  9. This happened to me last year at Comp USA, after me being about 10th in line, I will have to be sure to go up there and talk to the manager at BB to make sure this doesnt happen this way this time around. Does anyone know what manager I should ask for that would be able to make this happen, or make sure the scenario above doesnt happen? Who would be the guy in charge to talk to?
  10. Apperantly here in North Carolina the sales tax is about 3.5 percent, but each county is able to make up their own county sales tax, so my county that I am in, and I think the capital county. (Wake county which Raleigh resides in) is both another 3.5 percent, so 7% overall.
  11. Thats great to hear, that I myself can really get one of everything if I get there early enough to get in line. (I will, 10 PM.) My friend who worked at bestbuy last year was telling me that for the first few people they handed out books of vouchers that had I think all of the tickets (one for each item.) to perhaps the first 5 or so I would think.
  12. I myself wouldnt buy something like the projector at its list price, however it is always one thing I have wanted, and this is darn cheap. Also, it says it in the fine print I believe for the ad scans under most hot items the minimum they will have.
  13. I am assuming, that this is the model being sold here. Or atleast it l ooks the same, and has the same specs off of the BB scan that I can read. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16824018030 It is for sale for 744 there, which is 50 dollars off of what you can get it for at Toshiba Direct, if I recall from what I checked yesterday. I will be hooking mine up to my computer, so the 800x600 resolution is okay, although myself being a computer geek i have my desktop usually at higher than that. PS: PC magazine has a review of it here. http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,1822467,00.asp
  14. Do you guys happen to know if most BB stores do it to this effect. They go to each individual person in line, and ask them which ones they want, if they havent run out? So if I literally have myself and 4 friends as the first 5 in line, each of us will all be able to get a laptop and desktop ticket, and maybe two other tickets? I ask because I went to comp usa last year, and the employess pretty much walked briskly down the line handing stuff out to whoever called for it, I am sure several people in front of me (I was 12th or so) did not get a voucher they wanted. And the guy with the laser Printer tickets started 30 back in line! That is my only fear, that I get there first or top 5 in line, and they skip me on certain vouchers.
  15. The x700 isnt too good of a deal, because it is 200 dollars before rebates, when it can be had for about 130 online. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?Submit=GO&Range=1&InnerCata=48&bop=and&Range=1,%201,%201&description=x700&orderby=1&sortby=22&srchInDesc=pro Although I'm not seeing any AGP versions of the x700 pro there, just PCI Express.
  16. Ahh you're right. How quaint of BB to take the picture of that TV from directly head on.
  17. Well, my reasoning is this, up until I leave to go to BB, (which is conviently now just 2 miles down the highway from my place) I would have been sleeping anyway. So why not get the sleeping done there? Also, I finally found that 30inch HDTV for 399.99 in the ad, on one of the last pages. Seems there is perhaps as few as 2 per store. Im not a big TV person. (Computer guy) But this seems like an extremely good deal, for a 30inch LCD, let alone it being HDTV? EDIT: Btw, Rossman, PM coming your way.
  18. I must admit I am disappointed that it was not with instant rebates. 799 is pretty much list price around the net I am finding, so still 449 is still a darn good price even with rebates. Pretty much the only rebates I will be willing to do, and im glad nothing else I wanted has it them.
  19. My List 2 Desktops for 149$Laptop for 379Toshiba DLP Projector2 Sandisk MP3 PlayersLooks like my friend and I will be getting ther around 10 PM The night before and sleep in shifts. Heh, nothing wrong with wanting to be first in line? (Top 5 I would hope if I got there that early.)
  20. As far as I know, Rhino was a creation by Blockbuster, so there really was never a buying out.
  21. I wouldnt mind another computer. What strange about that? Well my friends think it is. Because I already have 7.
  22. I have to work, but at around noon or 11:30, which is fine with me because I usually camp out one store and do as much shopping as I want to there. Usually get home before 11.
  23. If that is the actual laptop that will be forsale, and if there are no rebates they are including in that price, then that is the best deal of black friday. I will post why if and when we actually get the scans. However I will also be picking up the toshiba projector if that is without rebates as well, that is nearly 350 off list price.
  24. Just went to my local walmart and they had theirs for 2 for 3 dollars, and they said the previous price was 2.64.
