I dont know if I have missed this message but my BIL just told me that all of our Garden centers are closing in September because they are just not making any money. Anyone else hear this? I am in Jacksonville fl.

Nah, I had to take the umbrella back because it was broken and he scanned the tag which rang up .01 cent and said something strange like umbrella sign. Then the umbrella stand shows as being on there twice but it doesnt say stand it just says smith and hawken or patio (the receipt is in the car and I dont recall but it certainly doesnt show what it is). So when I took it back to a different store (because they had plenty in stock) they almost gave me a refund thinking they had charged me twice for the umbrella! NUTS...

Patio clearance in Jacksonvlle fl at mostly at 50% off plus the cashier made a mistake which I pointed out. Round table, aluminum but colored beige with what looks like a square paver pattern orig 379 for $187, umbrella stand originallly 49.00 for $36.xx (30%) and teh umbrella was 110 but priced at $79 but when he scanned the tag for it it rang up $36.XX. I believe that if I dont point something like that out that maybe I will get payed back in the future so I told him that on the front of the big umbrella hang tag there was a little ppocket for the sale sign which was for the umbrella stand which showed the exact price of the stand. HE repeated nicely NO I rang up the bar code on the back of the umbrella tag and this is what it said! so basically instead of paying a total of $302 I paid $259 and stopped on the way home and spent the difference in plants and planters for our new paver patio ! I tried...!

in jacksonville they are already marked down.

by far, DS 5.5 loved his imaginext castle with dragon on the front that Santa found for $29.99 instead of its orig price of $54!

Halloween decorations up in the outer aisles but the main area where they put the large animated stuff and big pumpkins still has school consolidated.

Orange Park (on the edge of Jacksonville fl) has 50% off pools and toys today.

Start searching now for upscale consignement shops either online or near you. Some women only use them for a bit and take them in. You wouldnt even know it had been used...then you have extra cash to stuff in the purse!

wow tons of toys at target today. Got the imaginext safari orig 39 for 9.99 and several polo's for 1.78, several plain t shirts for 1.24 and striped t shirts for 1.48 in boys (not toddler) section. They mainly had x/s. They had tons of lunch bags clearanced but only 30% off.

try dell.com we just got a 8mp and 4gb chip for $134....may have only been a christmas deal but who knows. ..

It may help to know what you are interested in shooting...is it just a point and shoot you want or a SLR where you can remove and change the lens etc.. if you want just a point and shoot, we are very happy with the two cannons we bought as gifts. i590 powershot has excellent reviews..... read about any camera at dpreview.com for more info. I had a kodak I loved but the camera broke 2 months after warranty...never owned another since. We are on our 3rd slr digital camera (we upgrade) and we have now bought the mentioned point and shoot for two others.

brand new leapster 2. blown pixel straight out of the box but it wasnt really noticable with the machine on, then it wouldnt respond to the pen on the screen so I called for a return...waiting for hte label to ship back...
