Forgot to mention we got stuck behind an "Extreme Couponer" type at Wal-Mart! I guess she was price matching but she had EVERY ad from the freaking newspaper and was totally un-organized. She had like 2-3 sets of pots and pans, lots of video games (but not the ones that were on sale these caused the most trouble, like 4 different people had to be called over), and a bunch of toys. It was awful. .

Had a great time last night, but WOW was Wal-Mart crazy. This was my first time doing Wal-Mart right when they opened. We actually didn't get there until about 9:45 and the first thing we found was the sheets. We needed 10 because my grandma was getting them for everyone for Christmas. About 5 till the plastic came off and people started grabbing, I don't know what happened but we got our 10! Then we went to look for the video games. I was looking for Arkham City and my cousin made it over there but she grabbed the PS3 one and I needed XBOX. Headed back in to the pack and looked around but they were gone, then I saw a lady throw something on top with a white front, I literally leapt over a cart and grabbed it. I was so happy! That was the only thing I really wanted from Wal-Mart. We hit the mall and Target after that. The only other really crazy place was Belk. They were supposed to open at 3 but we got there at 3:05 and there was no way all of those people got in there in 5 minutes. My greatest score was the Keurig Deluxe version Regular 179.99 for 127.XX! Woohoo! I also got some Sperry's. The boot and shoe tables were NUTS. You couldn't tell where anything was and shoes were flying everywhere! I dropped my posse off at around 5 and decided to see what Target looked like since I didn't do much looking when we were there the first time. They were pretty dead and still had quite a few big items left. I got the iPod Nano with the gift card and then used the gift card on the $35 sheets. First and foremost I had a GREAT time with my family. We've done this since I was little and it's something I have always loved. I also got a couple of great deals, so I am a happy camper this morning!

# American Eagle? Anyone know what their sale will be? I know today online they have 40% off and free shipping. I think they usually do a $5 scarf and a % off on Friday but I can't remember what it is.

Just got an email from them and they will have $25 PINK yoga pants and sweatshirts on Friday as well. They have done this in the past and they are usually special products made just for this promotion.

This is what I need! My husband was telling me about it but I haven't been able to find it online anywhere. I might have to go to Walmart at lunch and see if they have it. I'd rather just get both now.

I think Small Business Saturday started their nationwide push either last year or the year before. Glad to see it is catching on!

Grr video games are right by the front door for everyone to see! All I need is Arkham City and Madden for xbox 360.

Went to the mall yesterday and noticed there were a bunch of stores opening at midnight that were not anchor stores. Forever 21 American Eagle Hot Topic Journey's Wet Seal I imagine there will be more.

I've seen this on Pinterest a few times and I just have to say I would have been terrified of this as a kid! Someone watching me and moving around my house while I was sleeping?! No thank you! LOL

I'm thinking it will be too chaotic at Wal-Mart for them to bother with that. Plus I bet they pull them all anyway. You can try, but I wouldn't bet on it. I just checked both ads to compare and Wal-Mart's bundle comes with the Kinect Adventures game. I don't see that on Hastings ad so they will probably say it's a different deal. They are really strict that it has to be the EXACT same. I'm also 100% sure that you wouldn't get the gift card because that doesn't start until their XBOX deal starts.

We went out last year around 6am and it was GREAT! A lot of places opened at midnight and then the rest opened at 4-5. By 6 the crowds weren't bad at all and we took our time and shopped all day! There were even some TVs and stuff left at Wal-Mart when we got there about 8, but we don't shop for stuff like that.

I'll do online sales whenever they pop up. I'm also thinking about going to Target at midnight since it is right around the corner from my house. After that, I will go home and sleep a few hours then go pick up my grandmother around 6am. She refuses to do the late night stuff.

I know a lot of people who are happy to work holidays because they get time and a half. Also, not everyone has a family. I don't usually shop on Thanksgiving day but it's usually because we are so busy. We have 3 different houses to visit. I know my grandma likes to go to K-Mart because we have Thanksgiving lunch at her house and after that it gets kinda boring.

TJ Maxx has great towels. My favorites are the Calvin Klein, DKNY, and Tahari ones. They're nice and fluffly and hold up well after multiple washings.

Their food is great! My grandma always gets our turkey from there and it's amazing. She also gets a ham, but I don't like ham so I've never tried it.

I love watching Christmas shows on QVC. My husband likes to make fun of me for it.

Are you planning on getting 3 games, or just the 1? I think if you are planning on getting 3 of the games you should all have to stay there. That's just my personal opinion though.

My best friend is having her baby TODAY and still planning on going shopping on Friday! She's hardcore! This is her third child and the other 2 were pretty quick and easy deliveries so she is hoping for the same this time.
