  1. I have a question to those of you who have used the patches - Do they really work? The reason I am asking is because I have been a smoker for 11 years - 2 weeks ago I started using the patch then a week ago I took it off to change it and decided to wait to see how long it would take me to need another one - well that was a week ago and I haven't put on a patch since nor have I had a cigarette. My cravings aren't more or less with the patch. Has anyone else noticed this? Or am I just weird?

Remember that this is an over the counter stop smoking aid, and as with all over the counter medications, results will vary. With that said, choosing to stop smoking is very personal commitment one makes. We all have varying levels of will power, some people can stop smoking cold turkey, and some need a little help. On the box of Nicoderm it is recommended that you use the patches for the entire program; remember these are recommendations for the general public. Perhaps all you needed was two weeks of nicotine therapy to stop smoking!

As for me, I have been on the patches for three weeks; I have not smoked one cigarette and intend to finish the program. I want to make sure that once I am off the patch I have little to no dependence on nicotine.

(Now back to your regularly scheduled thread!)

  2. Oh... so this post isn't correct

"Wal-Mart will do a price match once if you bring in your recipt but if the price drops again after that your out of luck. You might want to wait till Jan to go get your money back. It may be cheapest then and all the X-mas returners will be done so line won't be as long."

Well, it may vary from store to store? I live in Utah, and my local Wal-Mart, will honor a roll back on a item that was at regulat price, and then rolled back, but it wont honor a price on a clearance item at was rolled back again.

  3. OK- So the site is slow but working now. I have one in my cart but I'm thinking -- I have twin daughters. Do you think I should get one of these for them to share or buy 2? I'm so broke so buying 1 would be better for my purse...but my ears couldn't stand it if they argue all the time.

If they like the same music, and programming then one should be enough; however if their tastes vary then I would recommend two.

  4. OK..now I am totally ticked off...I got the confirmation email stating that I was good to go on the salad set...I also ordered the platter..then I rec'd the another one with my invoice only charging me for the platter but showing the salad set to be added on 12/8

I just opened a letter I got in the mail today...(snail mail)...it says:

We are writing concerning your order for Lenox contempory 3 piece salad set. We are sorry to inform you that we are unable to fulfill your order.

We regret to say that there has been a decline in consumer interest toward this product. Since we have not received a sufficient response, we have made the difficult decision to not perform another production run.

    Blah blah blah...

Seriously...how many do you think they oversold by? I am curious as to how many on here actually ordered it, and of those, how many got it...

I think a phone call is in order...

When did you order your salad set? I ordered three on 12/4 and they are in transit. Usually on deals like this, a company will over sell by 10% to account for people changing their mind after they placed an order. Lenox sold the contemporary line at a loss to recover their warehouse space.
