We are closed the week of Thanksgiving and the last two weeks of December. Since we are all salaried it's paid, and the best part I don't have to use my vacation. I am very lucky.

Edit: I know that Zales is having a similar sale, I think that both of these companies are owned by the same company. The jewelery is identical and the website interface is also identical. So if if you didn't get what you wanted at Zales this may be the next best thing. :)

I just ordered the vegetarian meal plan, and so far it looks like my family will eat everything on the menu! This is much cheaper than what I was spending on dinner, and with my receipes my son didn't always like everything.

My neighbor has a Telestory Console, and it is amazing!! Her child ( age 3) is actually learning to read with this. I think its worth it even with the $10 shipping.

I canceled my Sears order and purchased the camera, and charger through Amazon. However I am waiting to get a 2GB SD card from Sears on Sunday through their Friends and Family sale, it should be about $14 on that day.

I have been on a few sites that have pledged to post the Wal-Mart ad once it is leaked. I also posted the link to this thread on some of those sites, and urged those members to email/write/call Wal-Mart to support GottaDeal. With enough pressure Wal-Mart will back down, it's inane that Wal-Mart is threatening legal action to suppress information that is meant for broad distribution for public consumption.
P.S. I Have mailed Wal-Mart twice, but have not received an answer.

I have been looking for a calender I want to get one of my bosses for Christmas.
The particular calender I am looking for has all of the world's holidays on it.
You see, this boss is always looking for a way to take a day off and I think this would be a very funny gift. I saw one once a few years ago, however I haven't been able to find one either on or off line for 2008. If anyone knows where I can purchase one, I would love you forever!

Try having them decorate or make something and they can take it home as well as occupy them for the party. i've done visors and let the kids paint them etc and take him home, i found dollar tee shirts and let them do wahtever to them..i found that work pretty good.
for about 200.00, build a bear has reps that will bring the materials and hae about 12-15 kids make their own along with the outfits etc....
That is actually a good deal! I went to buildabear's site and couldn't find anything about this, they do offer birthday parties at their store though...Do you have a link?

I Have a stupid question: what exactly do you get with the kit? I mean is it paper that you print on, or is it a scrapbook maker like HallMark Scrapbook maker or Ultimate Scrapbook Design?
