Any input on why the flicker flashlight (or any toy really) would be clearanced in some stores and not others? I saw it at 30/50 % off earlier in the week, only one and it was gone by the time I hit that store for 75% off. I then came across it in the regular handy manny section at another store (that only had some 75% off, but target brand still 50% off, I even checked with an markdown person)... so I figured it was a weird store. Anyway, checked a 3rd store today, with the same dcpi number list above in the regular manny section and it rang up full price at $15... any insight.. was it possibly overlooked, or just a weird fluke that it was marked down in some stores??

Ok.. so double checked my receipt and the step2 Kitchen did ring up $25... (was going to call and ask the store to check price again for me now thinking that it had been marked down after I left because there were a couple left)... anyway I was looking at the receipt to find the item number and it rang up right. We asked 2 employees and 1st one had a scan gun that wasn't working so he just used a regular scanner (that customers use), which I knew wouldn't do us any good.. then Mom snagged another employee who told her $50... so unless the employee was mistaken, or mom IS crazy.. then MAYBE someone else actually scanned it right to check for a markdown BEFORE we checked out. I bought about $140 worth of stuff.. and didn''t see when they scanned the kitchen.. so I didn't realize.. Totally stoked now!!

I was able to find the step2 kitchen, but it was marked only 30% off and scanned only 50% off. I thought for sure I scored a great deal.. I still bought it. But we had someone scan with a gun and the price didn't change... how is that possible if other people are getting them for 75% off.. and pretty much everything else was 75% off.. didn't notice anything 1/2 off at that store (unlike another local store, who had stuff 1/2 off that was 75% off at another store..and I checked with an employee with a scan gun too..) weird.. Debating on whether to keep the kitchen, would LOVE it at $25... not sure at $50!

Thoughts on LCD TV? Good One? Good Price?

Is the 15" samsung just as nice as the 17"? Just smaller of course.. I am still debating and I see Best buy stuff is online now.... and I still want to stick to under $200...

So... since the Home Depot ad is now technically out can we talk about it??

Hi! Thanks for jumping in an responding! I just double checked my credit card to confirm the extended warranty program! Thanks for the heads up, I was vaguely aware of such a thing, but have never really used it. We like to buy big items at Costco because of their unconditional return policy... However, I really need to stick to under $200 for this item and the extended warranty program makes me feel better about my purchase! Glad to hear the best buy one isn't as good... I don't really want to hang out there for one item... and we don't have a staples in my city. Any possibility of these stores selling these items online? Any other thoughts are greatly appreciated! kc

Hi... I am looking for an LCD Monitor for under $200 I see the following are available Office Depot KDS 17" 199 (is this without any rebates??) CC 17" Liquid Video $199 AR BB MAg 17" LCD 189.99 AR Samsung 15" LCD 179 AR I am afraid of going to Best Buy because it is such a zoo.... There is an office depot near by that might not be that bad, I guess it depends on how great the rest of the ad is for everyone... We don't need it for gaming or anything like that more web browsing.. or running some music/sound mixing software...no spectacular graphic type things... Are there any opinions out there, based on brand, or which store etc. thanks

Where are you in AZ? There are several in Tucson and there must be just as many in Phoenix...
