  1. Best- I got my gift early this year. Its 4 round trip tickets to Alaska for me and the kids. I get to spend Christmas with my sister. We haven't spent Christmas together for 11 years (she is military).

Worst- pants from DH that were WAY too big.

  2. If you are talking about the cans of pumpkin, you can usually find at least one box of it with the other pie fillings on the baking aisle. I have this pumpkin recipie that the people at work just won't wait for, so I can usually find it there.:D

I am a bad cook, I am looking for the frozen pie. I want one so bad. :)

  3. The best gift I have ever seen was (how do I put it nicely) an adult toy. My MIL hosted a party for her friends from high school and one was a total snob. So the next year a group of girls got together and all bought these and made sure the snob ended up with one in the end (no pun intended).
  4. I also spend WAY too much time wrapping. I pick paper that matches my tree (after all, I have to look at it for a month) and each kid/ family gets there own paper. This way I just have to look at the wrapping paper to know who the present is for. Then I like to go all out with the ribbons and bows, often making my own bows. I think I also need therapy.
  5. We were at my aunt's annual Christmas eve party. My sister was on the front porch, she came in and my aunt took her coat. My aunt thought she had a twig in her hair so she tried to pull it out and it was a bird's foot! The bird took off flying through the house and people were ducking and screaming. She had candles lit on the beams in the living room and the bird clipped one with it's wing. Some how a few of the men got it out.

My sister has long thick CURLY hair. She was outside smoking on the porch standing next to a wreath so her guess was that the bird hopped off the wreath and into her hair!

Thanx for this story.... I just spit Pepsi on the monitor and have to clean it now.

  6. My sister lives near North Pole Alaska. A few years ago she got us letters from santa with the address of Santa's Workshop and took pictures of it. In march of this year the neighbors son told my kids sants didn't exist. I pulled out the letters and pictures and convinced the other kid that Santa really did exist. This year we are going to my sisters house for Christmas and we will be going into North Pole and looking around. I am really excited.
  7. I do not know when I stopped believing but my kids still do. They are 8, 7 and 2. This year we will be going to North Pole Alaska for Christmas and they will be going to Santas Workshop to meet the "real" Santa. Its going to be a blast.
  8. Walmart.com done gone and pi$$ed me off. I stayed up until 2am (5am ET). Got everything I wanted in my cart and thats when it all went to poop. I ended up going and standing in line for 2hrs. I am at the in-laws and had no idea the layout of this store. I also have no clue how I am going to get this stuff home. Now it's 6:45am, my cart is empty and they are sold out of half the stuff I wanted to get. I was still hoping to get some of the games since I couldn't find them at this walmart. Oh well. At least I got all the IDogs I wanted. Walmart.com would only let me put 1 in my cart and I needed to get 6.
