Personally, I haven't ever sold a voucher, but I'm not against it either. The year before last, I waited in lined from about 10:00am until nearly 6:00pm on Thanksgiving day when I got a call that my only sister's house was on fire. I had to leave, my daughter and I were number 3 and 4 in line. I sold our spot for the lump sum total of $60.00 and gave the money to my sister so that they would have some cash for that night. We have gotten an extra voucher for a laptop one year but we gave it to a family further in line. I might just consider getting a voucher and selling this year.

I am one of those crazy people who spend all of Thanksgiving day and night waiting outside of Best Buy. To keep upbeat during the looooong hours, I get up every hour and start at the front of the line and go all the way to the end doing the wave. It keeps everyone friendly.

I got in line at Best Buy at about 8:00 pm on Thanksgiving evening last year to get the Kodak cameras for my three daughters. We weren,t doing anything at home, so I had my husband drive by Best Buy to just check it out. When we drove up, I had him leave me I think I was number 31 or so. I called the rest of my family right away, my sister came with her tent and sleeping bags, my daughters came and got in line across the street at Circuit City, she was about number 25. I got the cameras, my sister got her computer, and my daughters got the videos they wanted. Also, my daughter got one of the last tickets for a computer, people actually wanted to pay her for it, she gave it to a family who had several daughters who looked like they really needed the laptop.
