I like to be done by the first week of December, but it seems like there are always those odds & ends that have to be picked up at the last minute. Plus, my older dd's birthday is December 27th.

We have a Parade of Lights every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. That's about it for this one-horse town.

I like to see what other people are buying while I'm waiting in line. I do that all the time though, not just on BF.

Last year was my first time shopping on Black Friday. I make individual store lists, and start with the store that has the most items I want and/or the items I think might sell-out the quickest....and so on and so forth.

Between 11:00am - 12:00pm.

That's why all the decorations are picked over by the time I'm ready to shop, because people have been pawing through them since September.

Yes, I always check the sale section. I got six Hopscotch Hill books there at the beginning of the summer for $ .49 each, regularly $3.99. The shipping was only $ .95.

Thanks. I got one for free shipping over Labor Day weekend (31LABOR). Doesn't work on furniture that has to be trucked to your home though, which is what I need.
