I shower in the morning because it helps to wake me up. I do just put my hair up instead of doing it and I just put the basics on for makeup. I don't want to look awful for the entire day, so I do kinda get ready!!

People are absolutely amazing today! BF is supposed to be fun and a day to get good deals and for everyone to be happy to kick off the holiday season! I can't believe our culture has become this! I would love for someone in another country to come here and have to explain the whole idea of BF!!

I go with my mom who loves to shop and get the best deals! We started last weekend. She drives me crazy because when we are in the stores she has no sense of direction at all and will just go in any direction and will not go towards the item she needs. I am usually redirecting her to get to the item and I sound rude after awhile. I love my mom though! She is my best friend and I am glad I get to shop with her!!!

Where did you hear about this? Do you have to go to Meijer on Thanksgiving day to get it? What time does the sale start? Please give me as many details as you know! Thanks!~

I will shop all day on Friday until I can't find anymore deals. Then I will come home eat and sleep. I will get up on Saturday morning and continue shopping. This is the power weekend!!!

As much as I need to....I want to get the best deals....whatever it takes to get those. I hope to do all of my shopping for Christmas over that weekend and then just relax and enjoy the season.

I do Carson Pirie Scott on Friday and have 15 coupons. That means standing in 15 lines! I have no children to buy for and I buy all of my gifts from Carson's and Ayres for family and friends. I do buy from other stores, but on BF I devote my day to this because I know it saves me money! I am going to also drive 1 1/2 hours to Macy's on Saturday with 15 coupons also. I know this will save me money for the year because you can always pick up extra things for birthdays, baby gifts, and wedding gifts throughout the year. I have actually been in the spot where I didn't have anything to buy and I had to buy socks for myself! I know not everyone is in this situation and alot of you have kids to buy for and that means shopping at Walmart, target, and tru. This is the way I shop for christmas!

Does anyone know if you can shop online for Kohl's on Thanksgiving Day or early on Friday? I think it said on the back of the ad free shipping. I am wondering if the doorbusters are good online too? Does anyone know?

I would definately come on Friday! My cousin's girlfriend is coming from Canada for Thanksgiving and is really excited about going shopping for the first time on BF. I don't think she is in for what she will experience though! Good Luck!!!

Kohls!!! I miss the $10 gift card with any purchase too! My mom and I really cashed in with that offer. The last time they did it was 2003. In 2004 they changed it to a minimum of $50 purchase. They have that sale all the time!! They should do something different for BF!!! Please get us the Kohl's ad!!!

I bought my wool coat 2 years ago on BF at Kohls...I believe it was around $70. I would try Kohls and Pennys

As far as if the merchandise stays, I don't know... I think they are pretty well stocked though.

I have no clue....we usually don't go inside the store. I feel they have good sales throughout the year and so I buy alot of my BF stuff at other stores who have good sales on expensive stuff. (LS Ayres, Carson Pirie Scott) I then hit Kohls if I have time. I would assume that they have early bird sales and then if the sale isn't an early bird sale that the sale price stays the same all day. There early birds often last until 1pm though on other sale days, so BF might be the same way.

We also get the snowglobes each year. Our JCPenny store always has many of them and we usually get there around 11 am after our other shopping and there is usually a box outside the store with plenty of snowglobes. You don't even have to go in the store to get one! It is really nice!

I have no clue, but I have the same question. I hate to wait until the day before Thanksgiving or Thanksgiving day to know if the coupon is in the paper for that store in my area or if I have to travel 1 1/2 away to get newspapers for an actual Macy's store. Does anyone work for Macy's or that corporation know? I also buy several papers for Carson Pirie Scott for BF, last year my mom and I together bought 28 papers which was 14 coupons each and we got alot of stuff for basically nothing. Thanks for the information!

Does there seem to be alot of things that you can't use the coupon on? I am thinking of doing my BF shopping in my town at the stores I usually go to and then doing the shopping at Macy's on Saturday about 1 1/2 hours away. I want to know if it is worth my time to go. I want to get as much as possible, I just want to know if alot of items are excluded. Thanks!
