I just saw the leap pad on TRU. It may be something that will be popular because they are limiting it to one per person. I can't decide if I wan that or the Fisher price IXL.

I am hoping for a laptop for DD7, an IXL for DD2, and whatever else the kids decide they like

[Weather this year on Black Friday]

It is supposed to snow where i live. It has been tolerable lately but of course that has to change for the big day.

Cleveland area. Anyone with experience have advise? I plan on visiting Walmart, Target, JCPenny, and a few minor stores. I'm considering going to Strongsville but could go to Parma, Great Northern area, or maybe Macedonia instead if they are better areas to shop in.

I wouldn't go anywhere near strongsville friday. With best buy and the mall it will be horrible. traffic is terrible there on a normal day. I heard Parma was pretty good as far as hitting Walmart and Target. Medina is good for target and walmart. There are many other stores out there also. Macedonia is not the best area as far as theft.

I would buy the one big thing she really wants. She would probably be happier with that if that is what she really wants rather than a bunch of little stuff

The Monster High dolls are nice looking, but really poorly made. My daughter got one a couple of months ago and the hands keep breaking off. Even though she likes the way they look she doesn't want more of them because she can't even play with the one she has without it falling apart.

We had the same problem and DD6 does not play rough with her toys. She has Laguna and the fins won't stay on her legs and other pieces keep falling off.

Just went to Walgreens and got five of the teacup piggies. They are on sale for $9.99 in my area. They were on the top shelf above the greeting cards and wrapping paper.

I was surprised the line was so short when I got there. i arrived at 515 and was second in line. Last year at the same time I was a lot farther back. I think there ended up being 10-15 people in line. The bad thing was that the itunes gc would not activate when people started checking out. They took everyones name and they had to come back later in the day to pick them up.

I am disappointed in the ads. I will still go out because it is a tradition but nothing has caught me interest yet.

The store was open 24 hrs and the sales people let us put items in our carts around midnight. The only things you couldn't get until 5 were the hot items like tvs and laptops. Also you couldn't check out until 5.

I am having a very hard time finding the crazy coupe shopping cart that is in the TRU catalog. I have tried 4 TRU and one place even said the warehouse was out of stock.

EVeryone that has found the Teacup piggies and HAS it in hand what do you think of it? I got 2 this morning at Walgreens they had TONS 30+ on a top shelf of a non-toy aisle. I paid 12.99/each and the entire time I was wondering why I was ..... Anyone else ?

Bought one for my DD6. She already opened it. She loves it. She got a little bag and tiara to go with it. She loves it. I think it is very cute. I was able to pick up Goldie, Snowflake, and Princess plus accessory sets foe each. TRU had tons of limos and other sets including the one with the two pigs with it.

It is all about the experience so i will be out regardless. I am just hoping for some better sales this year as last years sucked. Not sure what I am looking for yet.
