  1. I personally intend to buy myself a laptop on BF and do not feel the least bit guilty. It would be different if you were buying stuff just to resell it.
  2. The regular Starbucks don't open sxtra early on BF. It would be a good idea if they did though. especially the ones inside stores
  3. NOt that it was a giveaway or anything but last year at our WM, the manager came out with a store layout and walked up and down the line letting people know where certain items were. That was kind of nice. Then there was a local restaurant that was passing out coffee to the peopl in line.
  4. I figure I am out in the cold that long anyways it would just be an added bonus
  5. First come first serve. It doesn't matter what the gift is for.
  6. When I worked at KMart I always gave my friends the discount
  7. The outlet mall is only good if there is something very specific that you are looking for. I am not really impressed by the BF sales that they have
  8. The only problem with the mall is that all of them around me already have gift wrapping service
  9. TRU is currently having a board game sale BOGO 50% off
  10. an uzi may be a good idea too:cheesy:
  11. I believe I saw the baby alive dolls on sale in the TRU ad this week....not 100% sure though
  12. They should offer a substantial gift card to the first 20 or so people in lin. Something at least $50 would be nice. Add to the incentive to be out there for hours in the freezing cold. Although, last year I would have been happy with free hand warmers:cheesy:
  13. I think my first BF shopping experience was when furbys came out
  14. ER season 3 and 5 Cars wishing beverly hills 90210 would come out so I could get it for my friend Cds Poverty neck hillbillies Heartland Gary Allen
  15. Watch the TRU ads prior to BF. They sometimes have the BOGO free sales for FP
  16. USe gottadeal to see what the ads are. Find out for sure what the hours of your local stores are. Get the Thursday ads to finalize your plans. Make a kist of what you want and what store has it. Decide which store has the best doorbusters that meet your needs and plan on being there first. Plan on waiting for hours before the store opens. Bring a shopping buddy. It is someone to keep you company in the wee hours of the morning and an extra pair of hands when the doors open. Good luck and have fun:cheesy:
  17. Kids r us closed, and I have heard rumors that babies r us is closing, so could TRU be next?
  18. The best is when you get one of the last "HOT" items available (laptops, furbys, etc). I think I am just an adrenaline junkie:D
  19. I am a nurse so I am use to going 12+ hours without going to the bathroom. It works out great for BF
  20. I usually buy quite a few of the doorbuster toys at WM. I have six little ones all in the 1-2 age range. After I am done shopping I figure out who gets what
  21. Ohio did have doorbusters last year and the WM doorbusters were cheaper than most places
  22. I wouldn't be able to fight them because I would still be holding on to the item. They would have to take me out to get the item out of my hands
  23. Plus stand outside in the freezing cold overnight. In real BF shopping there are no rules. It is just a mad rush. The theme song should be mission impossible or the lone ranger:D
  24. Kohl's seems to have a larger supply of doorbuster items so we are usually able to hit WM first and then go to Kohls and still get their doorbusters
  25. With some of my extended family and friends we just buy gifts for the kids
