  1. Note too that Sling TV is limited to two concurrent streams.

    From SlingTV FAQ

Can I watch Sling TV on multiple devices at the same time?
There are no limits to the number of devices you stream on with Sling TV.  Download the Sling TV app on all of your devices that we support.  While you are able to stream on all these devices, you may only stream Sling TV on one device at a time.

Can you explain how you get slingtv to work on 2 tv's simultaneously?

  2. I received an invitation, and am only an advantage member. I got my phone tonight :)

I upgraded last week...I got my 3 phones on friday. I showed up tonight at 7:55, went to service desk, got my 3 price matched, walked out of there, home by 9. Only worry was when they had to call a manager to ask IF they could do a match. Store manager said NO. I had to tell them to call the tech manager (who on Friday quietly told me I had 30 days to match this price), he said yes, do it...and all was good :)

They scanned my card in line outside, told everyone only card holder plus 1 guest plus kids allowed in. I went with a friend and his wife. She walked in video taping the line and was asked what she was doing, her response "people watching" . They laughed and let her just walk in.

Obviously their "rules" for tonight were very loose.

  3. I was told a little bit different story about those vouchers. They said vouchers would be handed only out to those in the store between 8-10 if (and only if) the store had phones left and couldnt get the activations done that night. The voucher would allow you to get it done (at the 96¢) at a later time.
  4. The subletting might be store dependent. In my local WI Sams, Radio Shak used to run the cell phones, but no longer. This changed about 1 year ago. Now, Sam's employees are running it. I was told that Sam's decided to cut out the middle man, as they get all the profits this way.
  5. Aww man I'm not Plus. :P

Neither was I, but I upgraded to the plus tonight...cost me $31.xx including tax for 5 or so months (my renewal isn't due until April). IF for some reason I got lied to, I will drop that plus in an instant. BTW, the plus is a big ripoff...not a deal at all when they charge $60 to save some money. Sam's has quite a few weekends where they give everyone the plus evalues without needing the upgrade. I never need to get in early, so the plus doesn't help me much.

Another note, a friend tried to upgrade his business membership which is up on December 3...he was told no because he is in a 45 day window...he would need to renew his annual membership in order to do it.

  6. I just returned from Sam's, and have verification from the store employee who called the regional tech manager(in charge of 12 stores in WI) and the answer is...

ALL FOUR major carriers are in on the 96¢ Galaxy S III on Black Friday @ Sam's.

    BUT, there is more!!

IF you have (or upgrade to a PLUS membership BEFORE November 18), there is a special one night only by invitation event with Black Friday prices.

I have been told that there will be Galaxy S III for all carriers @ 96¢ that Sunday evening from 8-10PM :D

  7. Target doesn't donate it, Goodwill buys it by the truckload.

That may vary by location, because Target does donate their "unsold merchandise" to Goodwill.

    8. Shop at Goodwill

What does shopping at Goodwill have to do with saving money at Target? Not much, but it does have a lot to do with saving money on Target merchandise. Since the retail giant frequently donates its unsold merchandise to Goodwill, a little thrift shopping could lead to big Target savings.

  8. yes, Target donates the stuff they can't clearance out in their own store. And yes, Goodwill has that stuff priced higher than clearance on most times...it's funny to see the clearance tag from Target on the item lower (sometimes half) than the Goodwill price.

Every Goodwill is different, as the employees do the pricing (for the most part anyway). I often see the exact same item with 2 or even 3 different prices throughout Goodwill. I guess it depends on the mood of the pricer on any given day.

  9. (Amazon only sells the XL HP02 in a package deal)

Notice the 1st 2 were the XL inks (50% more)

HP 02XL Cyan Ink Cartridge $6.22

HP 02XL Magenta Ink Cartridge $12.45

HP 02 Light Magenta Ink Cartridge $4.56

HP 02 Light Cyan Ink Cartridge $9.13

HP 02 Black Ink Cartridge $16.59

    Instant discounts you received:

    $13.00 Ink rebate

    $10.00 Coupon

    Order subtotal $48.95

    Shipping(Next Business Day) FREE

    Tax $2.68

    Grand total $51.63

That $10 code I found should make the HP offer better if you're spending over $50

  10. UPS does NOT want to deliver to houses...therefore they entered into this agreement with USPS to deliver the "last mile" to your house or PO box.

It seems like a cost cutting measure by UPS...while also allowing any blame for a late delivery to fall on the USPS. Smart move by UPS.

WOW! the opinions on this service are almost ALL bad!

    Good luck!
