Alright, I'm making an executive decision that it just isn't worth it for a sheet set! :) Goodnight and happy BF everyone!
-
I really didn't want to go to the store - it's next to a Toys R Us! That's too much craziness in one place!
Oh great, now it's just kicking me back to the homepage faster than before.
Eeeek. No kidding. I wouldn't wish that on anyone!
-
Ok, seriously-I should expect this because it happens every year, but I'd really like to go to bed before heading out in a few hours!
-
BTW...some of the example winners from last year had lame stories IMO...it gives me a little more hope for this year!
-
I'm so excited they are doing it again this year. Hopefully I'll have better luck than last year!
-
REI may have some deals...
-
That is a GREAT idea. I wish they had one for blackberry...
-
Just be glad you're not getting 2 feet of snow! :)
-
Cold Weather....and the people who think it is ok to hold a spot in line for their 5 friends who join them 30 min before the store opens. UGH.
-
Brad, do you need help typing? I type 125 WPM... let me know if you need me to help!
Me too...I'd be more than happy to help!
-
Word to the wise - Save the PDF to your hard drive!
It is so freakin' big...I think it might crash my old computer! :)
-
I also love the drive to the store and the adrenaline rush, but I think most of all I like being part of something bigger than myself (the line waiting to get in the store). And, yes, I fully realize how corny that sounds...but it is the truth! :)
-
WooooHooo! Here we go!
-
I'm in Littleton...will most likely be at the BB in Lakewood (Wadsworth and Crestline).:)
If we do BB this year I'll be at the Arapahoe/University store. Have you camped at BB here yet? We moved from Milwaukee Four years ago and I've yet to camp at BB in Denver. I'm just wondering how early the lines typically start... :)
-
I agree. It is so sad to see the little ones freezing in the cold weather. Leave um at home where it is warm!!!
-
Hm, I think this will be my 9th year....but I don't really consider the first three real "BF Shopping" since I just stopped at a few stores...no camping or anything.
-
Anyone who is in North Texas is welcome to camp with my group. Free port-a-potty pass, TV, and fully cooked thanksgiving dinner by my mom and dad.
SO tempting... :)
-
any one I can rope into standing in a line for houres, my daughter, her boyfriend, my husband and my other daughters
lol...when I first read your post quickly I thought you said "my boyfried", "my husband"....
-
DH to start/camp with and then just alone....I get too crabby after around 7:00am to deal with anyone else beyond myself...at that point I'm just plain on a mission to get through my list! I do wish we had more close friends or family around that would camp with us. My dream would be to do a whole Thanksgiving Dinner camp-out...and get to the store on Wednesday!
-
I don't need a shopping partner, but would be curious if there are any other GDers at whatever store we end up camping at in Denver!
-
I agree with len. You shouldn't need a spot in line if you are just going to pay for the item. Just go to the end when the store opens and meet her with her laptop...

I know I’m not eligible, but here is my all time favorite Christmas cookie recipe!
Christmas Marange Cookies
2 lg egg whites-room temp
1 tsp vanilla
¼ tsp cream of tarter
1/4tsp salte
Mix all of the above until it forms soft peaks.
Slowly add…
2/3 c sugar
Food Color of your choice (I do red and green)
Beat until stiff and glossy
Fold in…
1 c finely chopped pecans
1 c mini chocolate chips
Bake at 275 on greased baking sheets 20-25 min. Cookies will be set-up and dry to the touch when they are done, let them cool and then remove from baking sheet.
ENJOY!!!

Yay! I'm so excited, this made my day! Congrats everyone!! :)

Ok, so here is picture #1 (Task 3) …I hope I don’t get disqualified for having “What” instead of “Want” on my sign…UGH it has been a long week!!
