This exact thing happened to me one year. I had finished all my shopping and here is my daughter saying to Santa that the only thing she desperately wanted is the one thing she didnt get. Oh well, we have managed to keep up the Santa story up to now! What I do with my kids is have them make a list of 15-20 items and that way I have plenty of ideas for there grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc..... They usually get everything they want as they arent into extravagent things yet, thank goodnes.

It is not in the early bird part of the ad but in the regular sale part.

The games it shows are Dora, Spongebob and Spider man isnt it? Anyway, we will have to wait until the ad comes out or we get a better scan. What is everyones opinion on the Lmax vs. the Leapster. It seems the only difference is the on screen capabilities. If you use it on the road mostly, will there be much use in the extra $?

The main walmart ad shows the L-Max Leapster and three games. The List says that it is the Leapter and three games for 89.00. Could that be right? What a deal if so! What do you guys think? The reason that I think it is the L-max is because of the game packaging. Maybe it is just l-max for 89.00, games sold separately. ?????

Another neat deal on the game cube is the Mario party 7 set at EB games. It comes with 2 controllers instead of 1, a microphone and mario party 7 for 99.00. Great deal!

We get a bag of nuts....woohoo!!!! Last year they mixed it up and gave us a blanket, so this year I can stay warm while eating my bag of nuts!

I was looking at the Ace hardware ad and there are alot of free after rebate items that I know my husband would like. I can get 104 dollars worth of stuff for 18. I have never done a rebate and was wondering if you all have had any luck with it and how long it usually takes to get your money back?

My husband signed up for a different black friday site last year (trator!) and they just sent him an email stating that Sears had file a Cease and Desist order requiring the ads be taken of the web. Is this a bunch of bull? I hadnt heard of anything and I thought it might be a ploy to get people to thier site. What do you guys think? Brad, Ross?

What products did you see that have already been reduced?

One year, Mervins had feather comforters on sale and they just brought out a big bin of them. It was soooo chaotic that you had to just grab what you could. I was looking for a king size but could only get a queen. Instead of putting it back I walked around with it for awhile and come across another woman walking around with a king and she needed a queen, so we traded! That was awesome and certainly turned me on to the idea of hanging on to things for trade.

My kids birthdays are in March and April. I have always bought most of their gifts on Black Friday, wrapped them and saved them until thier birthday. I pickup most of the good deals and hand them out as school birthday gifts or neices and nephews throughout the year. Does anyone else do this?

As to the volume issue. I bought the headset for my daughter and then she can hear fine and I dont have to listen to her movie while I am driving.:)

I just saw that they are coming out with full length movies for the Game Boy advance. I am sooo stoaked! They have a box set with Shrek and Shark tales together for 29.00 on Amazon. That is a good deal and for those without a dvd player in the car it could be a life saver. I think it is much better than the short cartoons for 15.00 that they have been selling for the GBA. Just thought you might think that was cool.

Do any of you remember about what you could get one for last year? I would like to get one of the plasma type, thin ones but Im not sure what is a good price. What about just the traditional flat screens? Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Never mind. I figured it out. You have to look at the product description to get the list of promotional codes. What a pain in the Bootie! I did get Jr. Scrabble and Jr. Monopoly for 11.00. Not a bad deal! Under the tree they will go. Thanks anyway.

I cant get the discount to show up on Amazon for the BOGO Board Games. Does anyone know what to do to get it to come up. I thought I had seen someone talking about it earlier this week. Thanks for any help
