Thanks so much for the information. Luckily the store closest to me is a Babies r Us only so I will not need to deal with the craziness of a Toys r Us combo store! However it does mean that they don't open till 5 AM and if I go early I'm going to have to wait outside. I think I'll go after I'm done at Old Navy and have dropped my mom off at Kohl's! Does anyone have any advice on what time to get to babies r us to get the shermag glider? I walked through our local babies r us today and they already have some of the items out and there are very few of anything. Only two of the Exersaucer and 15 of the space saver high chairs. I asked about the glider and they said they are just putting them out on the floor and it's a free for all and they only have a few in stock. It's the only thing that I really want and need this year but it's supposed to be cold, rainy and windy here on Friday and at 24 weeks pregnant I don't want to be outside standing in line too long and get sick. If anyone has been before and can offer me some advice I'd greatly appreciate it!

Just a tip for anyone who does have things they want from Home Depot. For the past two years I've got to Home Depot on Wednesday 30 minutes or so before close when they are putting out all the stands in the front with the BF Deals. They already have the price tags up and they always seem to ring up correctly. This always saves me a stop on BF. Just thought I'd pass along this tip.

If you're even more short of cash and can live with the possibility of not seeing the show I would try to get tickets through the lottery. I got won lottery tickets when the show was on tour in Pittsburgh and then again in New York. I was looking at furniture at Big Lots this weekend and they had a cute pink princess vanity. I don't remember how much it was but if you have a Big Lots I would check there.

I got three papers and non had the Circuit City Ad in it. I like to have my paper copy to make sure everything is the same. My mom's paper didn't have one either so I guess I'll just print off the one here!

I went to Home Depot this evening for my recon and they were putting out all of the BF items in the middle of the aisles. None of them had any prices on them but I figured I'd see if they rang at the BF prices. Everything rang up the correct BF price! One less stop for me Friday!

Make Popcorn Ball Ornaments! Just mix the popcorn with white glue and form into a ball. Then let your kids paint on them! We did this when I was a kid and my mom still has them and puts them on the tree 20 years later!

I just wanted to give you the information on the GPS I just bought. I've been researching and asking around for quite a while and had narrowed it down to a one Garmin Model the 200 and one Magellan Model Maestro 3100. I went to Best Buy and tried them both out and liked the 3100 better. Only it is discontinued and being replaced by the 3200 so they didn't have any in stock. They did tell me that they had thirty in the warehouse and that I could order it and have it shipped to the store. I decided to look online and see if I could get a better price. I found a website that had it for $154 plus shipping. It's called Tech for Less. I've never ordered from them before but I'll let you know how it turns out if you're interested. I was not trying to justify the actions of the person who called him at home. All I was meaning is that there are lots of idiots and even unstable people in the world who can do very stupid things. It was stressed to us in college that you are making yourself a target by going into this type of profession. I chose not to go into that line of work due to some of the case studies we did in class. No one should ever call and harass someone at their home who is just trying to do their job, but unfortunately it does happen. I am disappointed to hear that it was someone from GottaDeal who called his home number. I would hate for someone's stupidity to reflect poorly on this site and the people here. Having read other boards I do think that we have the most caring and friendly people here! Sorry if I offended. That was not my intention.

That is very unfortunate and I hope it was no one from Gottadeal. Unfortunately he knew that this was a possibility when he took on this profession and specifically becoming the face (spokesperson) of a multi-national corporation. I have a degree in Public Relations and most of the case studies that we did in college involved death threats that were made to the spokesperson. This was especially prevelent in cases such as the Tylenol Poisionings but when you make yourself the personification of a company that is a possibility. I'm sure that he is well compensated for his trouble and I'm sure it was nothing close to a death threat. Unfortunately that is a hazard of the job.

All of our local BB's follow the fire codes and there is a line until late! Last year I didn't want to sleep out and just wanted video games so we went to Sears and back to BB and the line was still around the building. We went to Target and back to BB and still around the building! Went Shoe Shopping at Carnial of Shoes ($10.00 gift card at door at opening) and back to BB (And we spent at least 35 min trying on shoes!) and still a line around the building! Went to Old Navy and back to BB and the line was only about 45 people. We decided just to get in line because they were only letting in as may people as walked out the door. I don't mean to discourage you but just be aware that if your in a major metropolitan area this may be the case at your BB! P.S. I still got everything on my list: 15 PS3 games, 10 movies, One Office Season 1 on DVD, and set of walkie talkies. I had to ask if they had any more of the movies and games and the sales guy went in the back and grab stacks of all I asked for! So it never hurts to track someone down and ask!

Thought I'd share an idea for christmas gifts that I am doing this year. I purchased a batter bowl a clearance Christmas towel from the dollar store, a Christmas wisk from Target, Pancake Mix and Syrup. I purchased the syrup and Pancake mix from a Sugarhouse when I was living in Connecticut but you could use coupons and just get Bisquick or make your own mix and put it in a mason jar and just get grocery store syrup. It was inspired buy batter bowls that were on sale last year for 3.00 after Christmas at Sur La Table but you could do this with just an inexpensive mixing bowl. I put everything into the bowl and wrap with cellophane. Altogether these only cost me $10.00 each and I give them as gifts for families (Mom, Dad and Kids) This is kind of in the vein of the movie baskets or game baskets. I attached a picture of the batter bowl from Sur La Table that inspired this. I couldn't find the spatula or the towel in the picture so opted for other cheap alternatives. Hope this helps someone!

My husband and I buy our Costco membership every year at the home show in Pittsburgh where it is 50% off. They may do the same thing in Indiana. The other place that we could get them discounted is through my husbands work. He works for a very large company just down the street from the Costco. You may want to look into that option! Thought I'd post two more direct contact numbers. One way to hit at them besides actual sales is through their stock. These are both contacts in investor relations. You may not know it but you all (more than likely) own Walmart stock. If you are invested in almost any well diversified 401K or 503B ect... Therefore you are a shareholder, if only a beneficial owner. Unless you are a registered owner just let them know that you are a beneficial owner and are very upset with their threats and how it will affect your investment. I plan on calling tomorrow and letting them know that disappointing holiday sales results will push their dividends and stock price lower. Just try these two numbers and let them know that you expect good returns on your investment, as well as a place to get good deals and that by taking this type of action will only lead to bad publicity, analysts losing confidence in their 4th Q sales revenue and utimately disappointing sales results.
