I saw Teddy Ruxspin (sp?) at Walmart blast from the past!

I will only buy stuff for my mom who can't go any more. If anyone else want's something they can come stand in the cold with me and get it. I have enough to worry about getting my own stuff!

My mom and I have used the buddy system plenty of times. Like when WM puts a limit of 2 on the Game boys and the lady in front of us needed three for her three kids. My mom got another one for her and in return she helped block and tackle for us when the doors opened. It ususally pays to make a BF line friend. Sometimes it back fires but you never know unless you try.

I usually don't have a problem find a paper I have a problem getting all the ads I want. Because I live in a little town it's hard to get the ads for stores that are not near us but that I will be traveling to. Walmart ads are very ellusive on Thanksgiving day around here.

hand warmers for people in cold climates are a must!

I think the reception is so bad in the store because they are usually have a metal roof and it's hard to make a good connection. I have never been able to get a good connection in a WM store.

We have a big family party on my Dad's side and then by the time we get home it's time for bed. We usually leave out cookies not sure about this year. Santa has kind of been put on the way side. To bad I will miss the guy he was an easy way to get my son to pick up his clothes!

Organization is key make sure you have a list and your must have items are at the top. Any electronics you should go to first because those are usually the big items and they go quick. make sure you dress warm if your waiting in the cold are you will be miserable and most of all HAVE FUN!!!!! Hope your BF goes well and you get everything you set out for.

I have a spare bedroom that I lock and I stash things in there in bins. I go through the stuff every few months and count what I have for each kid. I try to keep it even for them all. Of course now the two teenagers get cash so I don't really have to do that now but I still count all the stuff I have for my son to make sure I'm not going over board.

I was wondering this myself. Our Kaufmanns is now a Macy's I've never even been in a Macy's Will have to see what the ads bring!

I try and keep dinner easy with not to many things to eat. Of course we have turkey, with stove top (love it I could live on that stuff!), Mashed Potatos, broccoli and cheese cassorole (yum!), mashed squash for DH (Yuk) corn, and of course pumpkin pie. That is about it it's just the three of us so I try and keep it easy.

I've never seen a real knock down fight on BF but I've seen some close calls with the line jumpers. (evil evil people!) But if someone took something out of my cart or out of my hands I would go after it!

I don't do it on BF but I do that through the year when I run across a really good clearance. I will pick up stuff and then my son will have a B-day party to go to and I haul out something I picked up cheap.

check the dollar stores too I have seen them there.

LOL!!! To funny mom39. I have another hint for all you BF shopper that use the hand warmers in your shoes. Take them out right before the doors open or your feet will be burning from the friction my feet where on fire last year. And that was with them outside of my socks!!!!

Last year WM opened at 5 am I'm sure of that I was freezing my booty off in the cold! Every SUper WM is different. Mine closes about 1 am and they set up the BF goods. Some have everything wrapped and they take off the wrap at 5. So call and ask. And you may want to call and ask a few times because I've gotten incorrect info many times before at WM.

Hey cactusmom if you wear those loose moon boots (not the really dorky ones LOL)for BF you can get the hand warmers in the toes of them. I did that last year with my boots and my toes where toasty warm!

I did Hot Chocolate one year. I filled Christmas Ziplocs with the mix and put a label on it. Then I got really cute containers that looked like chinese take out packages and put the bag inside of that. Then I dipped red and green plastic spoons in melted chocolate and wrapped them in plastic wrap added a few ribbons and it looked great everyone loved them. I have also made the cookie dough mix I bought nice plastic tubs and filled them with M&M cookie mix. Made a nice label and attached it to the top. Another big hit.

My son and his buddies had a blast. They marched in the parade and colored played with the moon sand (yuck that stuff is nasty!) and then they got the Yu-Gi-Oh cards and pins. They also had really nice plastic boxes for your card collection. They had a ball!

I'm pretty sure my first stop will be Walmart. Then it will depend on the ads from there.

I go before I leave the house and then just hold it until I'm done shopping in my first store. I am alone so no potty breaks for me.

Yes that is how it works but remember it MUST be the same item. Sometimes on BF they have exclusive items to stores that will have an extra with it. Wal Mart will not price match it. And also you MUST Price Match any BF items at the times that are stated on the ad you are PMing from. Just make sure you write all your info down and have your ad with you. It's a good idea to go a few days ahead of BF and make sure Walmart has the item you want to PM I do that and it saves time and heartbreak!

No I've never seen them before. What a great thing to have. He has 5 of the plug and plays and every night I have to go in and turn them all off!

It isn't Turkey Day without Macy's parade. I have never missed a year from birth and neither has my son. He must see Santa or it's just not the start of Christmas. Even tho he is 9 and Santa is really not his thing this year he still loves to see him.
