  1. But the UPS I wanted still hasn't shown up even though it was supposed to be delivered yesterday :( I called again today and they are sending out another one and I just have to refuse whichever one gets here second--according to the person at Staples they are using a delivery company called Velocity--In all of my shopping, I've never heard of Velocity at all!!
  2. They're made in Taiwan--I saw them while I was there, but I still have 2 full spindles and a partial left over from the Teon's on Black Friday. My inlaws ended up buying us some and I bought some (I think they were hinting that they wanted pics of the kids)
  3. I have the 32" Sanyo and I love it. I have had it since July of last year. It's a heavy bugger, but it has a great picture. I like it better than the picture on my husband's Toshiba monster.

Here's a Phillips from Circuit City for $675

  4. I freeze the candy canes--We don't eat them. A couple of years ago, I decided that it was really wasteful to throw them out after Christmas, so I put them in a corn dog box and froze them for the next year. I threw away any that were broken, but those same canes are on their 4th year. We've lost a few of them due to breakage, but other than that, they look the same. It also helped that that year, we had a real tree that was HUGE and we bought a lot of candy canes (about 8 boxes) so this year, we had a little one and had about 40 candy canes left and it looked great.
  5. I was there this morning--they really are 90% off--mine still had a lot of wrapping paper, bows, a few ornaments, a lot of lights and a lot of those candy or cookie gift sets. They also had a lot of those things that go around the wine glasses and the wine bottles. I also bought a tree for $4.99 --it's the 6.5 foot Chelsea thingy--I got it for the woodwinds section of the band storage room for next year. The brass had one, but the woodwinds was only a foot tall LOL I also got pretty garland for that tree, a tree skirt and some red bows (the bright red, not the dark red) and some dark red bows for my tree. I spent $60 and have a LOT of stuff.... The Christmas CD's are also 90% off. I picked up 20 of them, but they only had 5 different ones. Good presents for next year. I also bought another rubbermaid tote to store all of this in :-) I had FUN!!
  6. Any chance that someone has a good coupon for an Inspiron 8600?

No, but that's what I bought my son for Christmas. It had $612 in savings and it's awesome--I upgraded the video card to the 128 card and it plays doom 3 and Everquest 2 fantastically!! It also has a DVD burner so maybe eventually I'll get around to burning these pics to a DVD and making a slide show from them. I say eventually because the desktop has had a DVD burner for 2 years and I still haven't done it LOL

  7. Hi :-) Do you have a Kroger around you? I was in there today and they had a lot of them in all red on a green cord and 3-4 boxes that were red and green bulbs on green cord. They also had the C9 clear bulbs--but they aren't the ceramic's. They would be $2.50 a box. They also have the Christmas cookie dough down to 99 cents a package and they still have the blinkie up for the Toll House's $1/2 so I got 6 packs of Cookie Dough for $3.
