  1. FIFA, Madden and Call of Duty games, the Big One throw and towels from Kohl’s, slippers, slipper socks, candles from Bath & Body and I can’t forget batteries!
  2. I have 7 additional people to shop for now....3 toddlers all age 3, a 10 month old, a 7 & 8 year old plus my son’s teacher!
  3. I have picked up a few more gifts from Amazon for my youngest son including preordering the new Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I also got a few toys using the 25% off coupon from Target. Making some progress!
  4. It’s usually just me and my mom. Last year, I invited one of my BFF’s to come along and it was her first time going out shopping on Black Friday lol not sure if she will come along this year it was kind of a shock for her. This year I may drag my brother out if he has off of work.
  5. I have my wish lists for everyone I’m shopping for and how much I want/plan to spend. If I already have picked up an item I cross that off my list just to keep me organized. I wait for the ads to come out to see if there is anything from my lists on there. I plan to get those must have items online if available and hit the stores for the other items. I am an impulse shopper lol especially during Black Friday so I try to stick to my lists. Last year I created a Black Friday list on Kohl’s after the ad came out, and that made my online shopping so much easier. I think I will look into using the shopping list on here because this is my primary source for Black Friday info.
  6. Last year I shopped online (Kohls and Target) and made my way to Menards early Friday morning. I still like to get into the excitement of Black Friday shopping by venturing out to a few stores including Walmart. I will make the mall my last stop for clothes and stocking stuffers. This year I plan to do a little online shopping (Kohls) and going for some shopping thrills at a few stores. It wouldn’t be Black Friday for me if I didn’t get out there in the madness!
  7. Yay!!! This has made my night....making my list now!
  8. I check as often as I can which is many many times lol. I have my notifications set, but just in case I don’t get the email I still have to check.

  10. The Wish Book brings back so many memories! I used to love getting this book...couldn’t wait for Mom to come home with it so I could get right to the toy section!
  11. I loved KB Toys when my son was younger. Standing in line filled with anticipation and excitement for all the goodies I was going to get! The last few years it has been Kohl’s (online) and Menards. I miss the old Black Friday days at Walmart and Target including all of its craziness.
  12. I missed going to toyland this year I was looking to get the Nerf Rival guns that were on sale. Hopefully I can still get them for at or near that sale price.
  13. There are no more Kmarts in my area and the vacant buildings for two of them became the store AtHome. As many have said, Kmart was just dated and didn’t change with the times.
  14. This is very interesting. I love to shop at Kohls and last year was spot on with everything I wanted plus a few extras! Would love to see more. Thanks for sharing!
  15. The hardest part is trying to decide lol....I am always looking for a deal so I try to wait for Black Friday to see if I can get a better deal with a coupon, door buster and so forth. But if it’s a hot ticket item especially a toy or game that I know may be hard to find, I will usually just go ahead and buy it so I don’t miss out on it.
  16. Thanks for the information. I do a lot of my holiday shopping online especially after coming here for great insight. Will definitely do this from now on!
  17. I am terrible at saving and I always overspend during my holiday shopping. I have the tendency to impulse shop which kills my budget every year. I see many good ideas on how to save and hopefully I can use those ideas for next year.
  18. I shop for around 10 people plus gifts for the cookie exchange I do with my girlfriends.
  19. Looking forward to the first ads! I can’t wait!
  20. I have bought a couple of nerf guns, Laser X laser tag set, and Spinos. I have a long way to go before I’m done and looking forward to the board game sale Target does every year so I can get get a couple off my list.
  21. I managed to get a SNES from a local GameStop. I was pleasantly surprised to walk in at store opening with maybe 5 people ahead of me and get one. Luck was on my side last year with the NES as I was able to secure one online from Best Buy.
  22. I will be putting mine up Thanksgiving weekend. I have already picked up a few new ornaments, tree topper and tree skirt. Can’t wait!
  23. I love to wrap gifts. I usually try to have all gifts wrapped and hidden before the kids go on Christmas break. Any last minutes gifts I may have I try wrap while everyone is out the house for sports, haircuts or errands. I have a lot of “snoopers” so I have to work fast Lol
  24. KB Toys was an all time favorite for me! The memories of standing in line waiting for employees to pass out the large, clear Kay bee bags to fill with goodies like Tickle me Elmo, Blue’s Clues, Dora the Explorer and all the hottest toys...I miss those days!
