I am completely flabberghasted and beyond annoyed at this point. Back in mid sept I put down an $1100 layaway order at toys r us, which I do every year. I spent hundreds at my local toys r us every year and this year reall was no different. So this was my big layaway order and yesteray I went to pay it off. First they could not locate my order. Then they located it under an old phone number. So I paid off the layaway in full and then they could not locate my layaway order at all. The store manager tells me theyre looking for it and will find it by the end of the day or repull everything. I checked back twice yesterday. Still nothing. I go in first thing this morning and she tells me my layaway had been cancelled. i told her nope that was another layaway from a diferent date and I think now she's just buying time. You cannot pay off a cancelled layaway and now I'm beyond furious. They do not have my laway at all in the store and they promise they will get everything to me. I don't believe them. I waited all day before going back. They have just about everything except the pokemon cards which by now I'm like ok fine give me a refund for those and I'll just take the rest of the order. Enough is enough! I have never seen such poor customer service. I get the manager didn't lose the order and is trying to make it right but she tells me she'll have everything last night, then this morning, then by christmas. Completely unacceptable! Now I know why toys r us is going broke sadly:(

I know NES Classic and Hatchimals are the hottest items this year and last night toys r us was receiving shipments of them in. I must say how disappointed I was in the way my store handled their process and how many people were promised these items and then actually walked away empty handed and how unfair it was. I got up and headed out at 4:30. Arrived at 4:40 am. There was already a line of nearly 30 people. First person had been there since midnight. At about 6:30 am the store manager comes out with a clipboard and takes a count of people roughly. Then he comes back around and asks people what they were in line for. People were allowed to choose one of each item. I was number 30 and I asked for an NES classic and a hatchimal. 10 people past me he cut the line and told everyone else to go home because at that point he didn't have enough stock left to fulfil orders. He said everyone else standing in line was promised what they were asking for and that they would get their items. Tickets would be handed out at 7:30. I noticed shortly afterwards people started jumping in line and getting out of their cars and going to the front of the line and the front of the line was growing longer. No one was saying anything. I commented to the people around me but they said they thought those people had been there before. The manager came back out at 7:05 or so with tickets and started handing them out and got 1/4 of the way through the line and said they were suddenly out of NES classics and hatchimals and they would have rainchecks for 15 more hatchimals and no more NES classics. People were extremely upset and he said it was one per person when he had originally said it was one per family. He changed his mind later to one per person. Store policy even states one per family. I understand it was stressful for him and everyone but 15 people are not in one family. Those people were likely going to sell all of those items on ebay for hundreds of dollars when a parent wanted one toy for their child for christmas to make them happy. It just wasnt fair or right. Sorry to vent. Yes I did luckily get my hatchimal but I think of the many people behind me who did not and it wasn't right. They were promised one or the NES classic who did not and it was wrong what he did. They waited so long in the cold for nothing.

thank you. I feel the same way. And I think the ebayers and amazon people that do that are the same ones too. It really makes me mad because me 10 year old is dying for one.

Ordered Hatchimal off Diapers.com and it was cancelled I feel really cheated and angry. I managed to check out and pay for a hatchimal and today I get an email saying my order has been cancelled because they're out of stock. How? They were in stock when I ordered it and fine. How is this possible?

Walmart said this was the worst BF ever. I managed to get everything I wanted except the hatchimal. The first walmart I went to allowed everything to be sold before 6:00 and even checked me out and I was out the door. Got the 3ds for $99 which online claimed was completely out. Then went to target and toys r us and they were dead too. No lines at all. Went to another walmart a few miles away and found a ds just tossed aside and grabbed it up. No one was snapping up the tvs or anything. I was shocked really. Anyone else have this? Is bf dead?

Can anyone tell me when targets online sale starts? I really want the dsi xl for $99 but figured it's easier to order online then fight crowds. Should I be online at midnight to add it to my cart thanks

I know we do this every year and have discussed past years worst bf experiences did anyone have any really bad experiences last year? I personally didn't but I always love reading the stories:)

yes it is. sure hoping it's worth it? also went to this great store in our local mall that just opened up and purchased the old nes system with a ton of games for my kids. Figured i'd show them the old system too with all the great games that weren't loaded on the NES:) Not sure why the nes is so popular but the other sega and atari sets are just sitting on shelves?

my 13 year old daughter. she is super picky and doesn't like half of what I buy for her usually so I ask her for a specific list now.

journals, art supplies, barbies, american girl dolls or something similar, shopkins, troll toys, diary of a wimpy kid books or dork diary books.

big disappointment. I noticed they had no hatchimals listed. On the ad for this weekend they promised them in stock but when i went this morning my local tru said they didn't even have them. Nice advertising.

I puchased one off of ebay for $200. I had no idea they would be this popular and was rather disappointed. Everyone was sold out everywhere. $200 was the max I was willing to spend but i saw some for $1500 which was beyond obnxious. There should be a limit allowed for pice gouging.

I'm not new here but I cannot for the life of me remember my old username:( anyhow I'm purchasing Nintendo Wii U Xbox one and possibly a PlayStation 4 this holiday season. Wondering what the must have hot games are for each and also is getting all three systems a good idea? I've already purchased a Wii U and Xbox one. Thinking seriously on a PlayStation 4 as well.
